  2. Looking fit and well mate and ready for the coming season, may it go well .
  3. I also know of a few good stud dogs but thats only half the story and thats why i was just asking for bitch pics just to see whats out there really nothing more.
  4. Vert true smasher and that is a handy dog in any ones world, the title was just trying to sort the wheat from the chaff so to speak(and there is loads of cr*p about) and not to knock any ones dogs.No worries on the rant bit and do understand where your coming from ,FTB was going to do a ugly worker thread.
  5. Cracking looking bitches Alli and yes we all know looks don't kill,i just wanted to see this type of russell bitch.
  6. I'm sure there's plenty of bow legged russells working very well indeed and not knocking them as if it keeps the men that keep them happy then who am i to say otherwise?,i just don't like them and wanted to see pics of bitches along the stamp of what dbritt has posted which is IMO a nice working russell type bitch .
  7. Lol,the THL hornets nest is buzzing, smasher good on you for sticking with what pleases you and works for you but that sort is not for me,it's just the last russell topic was full of bow legged, prick eared cr*p IMO and like the title says good bitch pics please but i'll sort out a pic or two of my russell dog and dog pup just for you Don as soon as i can .Thats why i'm asking BDE .
  8. no mate,it's just a good russell type bitch seems a rare sight these days especialy in this neck of the woods and be good to see that there are good un's out there. One member on here has a belter of a bitch(dam of my latest pup)but it's not my dog to put up a pic of,hopefully he will later for us .
  9. Now are there any good russell type bitches out there?and i'm not talking about short bow legged, snipey nosed prick eared cr*p but well put together nice strong headed/muzzeled bitches that can do a proper days graft and before anyone asks for a pic of my russell bitch i only have russell dogs(good stamps of russells though ).
  10. Massive congrates to you and your lady mate.

  11. Well done and all the very best to you all mate, just remember little lads don't need cuddly toys just a dog to play with .
  12. I get it from a local aviary center(Morley Aviary's,in Norfolk) but i'll find out if they do mail order for you.
  13. I get a pre mixed egg food that doesn't need wetting and it doesn't sour quickly,i pay £2 for 1/2 kg and it's the most popular egg food with local breeders.
  14. And some of them caught more game in one season than most on here will see in a life time, these days the pups do make money for a few that do breed for cash but out there there are still a few folks working and doing well with these dogs.
  15. It'll have to be a rum old beddy to have a better nose than most plummers but your probebly right about temperment, but saying that socialization when a pup is a must with any breed of dog.Seen some very good retrieving plummers and know of a couple that won't ever be shown up on a peg on shoot day by any breed of gun dog.
  16. Years ago when i had a old ford D series and was totting for scrap i had air horns with the dukes of hazard tune and that got the feckers up to the windows to look who it was ,you could allways get one of the local toe rag kids to nick the school bell if you cant find a bugle! .
  17. Good little do that and well done lads and lasses who put it on and well done the winners, those russell pups are belters arn't they? .
  18. Depends on what you want the new breed for really .I myself have helped home 4 plummers from pet homes into working homes as they were not sutable as just pets and they were all cases of pretty looking dogs being in the worng hands. But as you say instint is inherited and there is probebly truth in your own bred dogs doing better in pet homes than most.
  19. Good one Dotty and best of luck for the future .
  20. Toby lost to ground ..before used ..typical working terrier attitude work first the legend dies briliant dog left nothing behind ..er now what..nowt in reserve not even a single insurance litter ??? "Typical working terrier attitude",you really that stupid to not know it's called testing your stock and seeing if it's worth breeding from and imo it does make you look a proper twat saying such things on a working terrier topic glen. You working terrier folk it seems you've all been breeding it wrong for hundreds of years now? .
  21. If you mean jabbed ie inoculated then you should have had it done months ago .
  22. Like i said i have nothing to prove to you or anyone. Well shut the feck up then .
  23. Nice bitch Bobo, got that blood myself and happy with how things are going .
  24. You lot won't find nothing worth the effort in norfolk so don't bother coming to look and anyway it's all my land after dark .
