    Here's some pics of a cock bird i took a little while back to ask the same question,the top of beak pics you have told about would show if it had black or brown hairs around it's nostrils,black = cock bird. This pics shows the red blaze going past the eye. These pics show the dark wing feathers of a cock bird,the hen is a lot more browner. hope it helps some folks.

    Got a nest of clear eggs myself to smash up later and i(with my well limited knowledge )would say there's still time for another round if the birds are outside but plenty of time if inside,good luck though mate and keep us informed .

    At the royal show ground,you don't go in the main gate it's down the smaller gate on the left hand side of the show ground but the last signs for it were small and hard to see.

    Hitching with a empty petrol can will get you a lift quicker and only once have i been chucked out a motor for not needing petrol,or just lie about you going to pick up a motor and thats why you don't need the next petrol station.

    You are easily pleased cbx because fly is fair-medium at best , she is game but dosent have the legs to be an allrounder , i had fly for a while and put her in pup to a straight grey to try and make something of the pups, that litter were a year old on monday just gone . Had some good nights out with fly , she once got kicked in the head by a fallow doe and was knocked out , 5 mins later she was running again , typical bull x .     I give all my birds as much access to as much different food stuffs as i can inclueding egg food and i've had no problems with any of my chicks,i mix sunflower hearts and conditioning seed in with my egg food as well as a pinch of dandilion seed and it all gets eaten at about the same rate(well the sunflower hearts do go first).As for the green food it ain't called CHICKweed for nothing mate and just tonight i was hand feeding one of my canaries with it and she was then hopping straight to her chicks and feeding them with it and same goes with brocoli,they can't ever seem to get enough of it

    They were in a largish old chinchila cage,but are in a double breeder cage now.
