I thought about asking for that pup for my step son,i have my own terriers and thought he'd have something different to me so it would be really his(if you get my drift)but i thought i could be being greedy as we do have enough terriers for our chosen sport here at home anyway. After reading this i wish by god i had as if he had been lucky enough i know it would still be here and would have been out with us today showing our other youngsters a few rats to get them started with,Poppy you are a first class knobhead of the biggest order.

That was one of the best story's in that comic another favorite was psi anderson and the angel gang, god how i wish i had them still, .

That you clever travelling man is the sort of fella who gets the rest of you a bad name  and you wonder why with comments on thinking conning a old lady is funny most folk don't think much of your race mate.
-
Same as Andy used to collect 2000ad and the monthly's and extra's,had suit cases full of them at one time.A master piece of a comic :notworthy: .

Seen 1/2 a lurcher hanging off a irish travellers tipper lorry years ago at Deeside north wales/birkenhead where he'd tied the dog on the back it jumped off and got caught by the back wheels  ,a local fella to me here tied his lucas terrier to the back of his pick up and forgot about it then drove off.Dickheads is the best description i think.

Anyone thinks he's a fool and know's feck all then you go take over a dozen rescue dogs most of which are full apbt or apbt x's and have a game of "get the ball" without a pile in.

Cracking looking pair of dogs and ticking the boxes so far, can't ask for more mate

Well all i'll say is he could hear the dog and the farmer has to sleep some time and i'd do anything to get my own dog back, but i'm not wanting to mess up a thread about a missing dog so i'm shutting up.
-
If he isn't prepared to give his all to get his dog back then so be it,like i said i'm different and as for being nicked and charged the farmer was there, the old bill were there and i'd be saying to them both i'm getting my dog back as you can all see this is a rescue.I'd then risk the court case on the grounds of i'd be being crueler leaving the dog and whatever it was on and i felt justified in digging to rescue both animals from each other with the farmer and police there watching ensuring no cruilty was taking place,i might well get nicked for it but it'll be a better effort than just walk

Not having a row mate no way,a mans dog is missing but he could hear her baying so dig to the bay(the way it was done before the locator),like i say redg'd or not, land owner having a paddy, old bill being there,i'd still be digging to my dog and they'd have to drag me off screaming.Still not getting nicked and leaving his dog to it's own fate seemed the better option to him,i'm different thats all. Do wish the man and dog all the best and hoping for a good outcome
-
Why was the earth undigable? as i myself wouldn't leave a terrier to ground, wouldn't care where it was getting the terrier out is main priority.Hassle from land owner(if your somewhere your not ment to be)would be something to deal with after you got the dog out,not wanting a row just the way i'd do it seeing as the dog didn't have a locator collar on the land owner could hardly say it wasn't an accident it dropping in.

remadies to give dogs after they have had parvo
fireman replied to black recking it's topic in General Talk
He needs to go steady with the pups stomach, with parvo it will have been throwing up and it would also have had the runs.A mild food is needed, scrambled egg, cooked chicken that sort of thing,a vitimin supplement would be good also.Just tell your mate not to try to rush banging the weight on the pup to quickly, parvo really takes it out a pup and they do look rough afterwards but to much kindness can be very bad for the poor things stomach.Best of luck with the pup coming right again and it did well to get through it . -
rspca help wanted [anyone know these dogs]
fireman replied to parrots2's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
if they were in the dog game they would have kept the collars they about a tenner at the most ya fking nutter rope is cheaper If someone had just been dumping these dogs they would have kept the collars, yes i stand by what i think as most folks i've met in the dog game will keep an extra collar or lead if the oppertunity for one came up.This statement does not in any way link any one i know in the dog game to an act of cowardness like this and if any of us knew who did this they'd be found hanging like the dogs were. Gem,they used rope and left the collars on????,not sure what sh -
rspca help wanted [anyone know these dogs]
fireman replied to parrots2's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
It would have taken 2 people to have chucked those dogs over like that and like i say any body in the dog game would have kept the collers as there to handy to just chuck away, alsothe person who did this if they were just dumping them would have just hoofed them in the canal with a curbstone tied rund there necks, these dogs were ment to be found and a fuss aboutthem was planed imo that is. -
If you were blocked in then i take it you were on private land and it shouldn't matter, like you said you were just pulled over having a little cuddle in the back of the van and when you were going to leave you all would have sat in your proper seats. They'd have to say you weren't on the road because of the reason they blocked you in,you were on private land and trafic laws don't count there .

Well chuffed with him mate, many thanks again :notworthy:

The russell pup i have high hopes for Busterdog,he's from a good proven line and i have got him for earthwork and he will(fingers crossed and all that)be my digging dog,the plummers have allways been my mooching, bushing, ratting terriers and with my bitch plummer i can have a bit of game bird protection work.So far so very good with this youngster as he is showing promise and i'm well chuffed with how he's turning out so far . Use your tools for what they are made for but with some tools there is more than one job .
