rspca help wanted [anyone know these dogs]
fireman replied to parrots2's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I'd say with the dogs still having their collars on this could be a revenge attack on someone rather than a calous dumping, both dogs seem well fed and i wonder if anyone has lost dogs in that area but is to frightened to say.Spineless c*nts trick which way you look at it. -
Ferreted bolting rabbits are not the thing to start young dogs on imo, they shift and usally have cover to aid there escape unless your ferreting out in very open fields it could dishearten the dog even further, better off with lamping a few squatters or better still take the young gun out with a old hand and let it join in during the day.Have known a dog or two never learn to pick up or strick at game, solo or doubled up.

Well imo once the vet bill was paid and they had there moan then it's over and done with and if they start getting the old bill involved i'd tell the old bill they threatened me for the money, threatened to shoot my dog and i'd have a couple of witness's to say the same. Then i'd suggest to the dog owners just call it a silly accident or your'll push for a nicking against them.Demanding monies with menace is a far more serious crime than not keeping your dog under control, but thats just me and i'll protect my dogs at any costs.

It'd be a lier or a complete numpty to not think that pic ain't a special moment in any walk of life Hannah and certainly one of the most moving pics i've ever seen. In defence of the photographer Moll, when they wanted to operate on my lad before he was born they were going to use a local aneasthetic on his mother as it is dangerous for the unborn child to use a general, also most cisarians are carried out using a local so imo a general aneasthetic would not have been used in this case.

Has the pup got acd blood in it WR? and good little trip out by the looks of things .

A very moving picture indeed Hannah,my eldest lad who's 18 now was found to have a thing called duplex kidneys(they didn't form propely)and as it goes when discovered he was the first ever child they discovered this on before he was born, they found on during a routine scan.Anyway when the pregnacy was 8 months old the hospital asked if they could opperate on him due to at some point he had to loose 1/2 a kidney(the bit that didn't form propely) and they wanted to give it a go due to it never being done before. We asked if it was life and death that he needed it before he was born and to our rel

Can't help but feel all this publcity about big foxes will have the ego boys out trying to kill the biggest fox they can find,a real shame as if left they'd maybe pass there size traits onto there young instead of just the small ones breeding.Time will tell but how in gods name can this be a good thing for the fox?.

There's a bird show in Stoke on trent coming up this month and you might well be able to get finches from someone there.

I feel the same jigsaw,i've never met Brookie but when i lost my acdx bitch a while back Brookie told me not to buy in another dog as he would have a young dog or pup i could have at some point, although i've never taken him up on the grand offer the offer was there and now to hear he's had this luck is gutting to say the least.I so hope his dogs come back well and sound and the feckers get whats due and maybe it will put others off doing the same, the very best of luck Brookie..

Don't be put off to quickly and like others have said everyone has to start somewhere with there first mole job, just tell the groundsman the truth and he might even let you have a little pratice on a few moles out the way sort of thing and if you do well you might well be able to do the rest.A few mole traps won't cost the world and who knows if you are sucessful the cost of the traps needed will be cheaper than a pro pesty and if the groundsman is helping set the traps then the golf courses insurance might well cover him for liability.Catching pests ain't as hard as most pro pesties like to m

Well your right in thats what it is all about, getting out letting the dog work and enjoying the spectical of it all.As for wanting in on a numbers day i can't say when it will be but your more than welcome down for a threshing day and we very rarely take less than a 100 from a stack, thats good fast fun you and your dog will enjoy but the thing is i get short notice myself when it's threshing time but i'll let you know as soon as i do when it's happening..

Not a bad start to the year
fireman replied to Hedge_hunter27's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Can't life be a bitch at times eh Pointer . -
Love to see a dog using it's nose and finding out his game,i'd rather (mad though it sounds)find a 1/2 dozen rats like that than get a 100 from a easy place where the dog don't have to try.Grand post and keep them coming as thats the sort of post we want rather than most of the other b*ll*cks written on here .

Did you give Prince William a wave in the helecoptor

They were between the travellers site and the M11/A14 turn off,in the fields on the same side as the lakes and travellers site.Worth a look to see if there still at it if your passing or living that way,as the grass fields are easy to spot .

I wouldn't be waiting for a cat to get bored if one was sat outside my avairy putting my birds off their nest or generaly upsetting them, once on my ground they become a pest and would be delt with the same as any other.
