  1. Ditch-Never said you were a loser ,only the cause you are championing at the moment ,but then again you knew that but as usual you are twisting what was said to meet your own ends .The reason why i will not be coming to your house is purely and simply because -After asking around about your good self ,i feel we will not hit it off in the slightest and i have better things to do with my time ,like hunting . So after publicly insinuating that i am a messer ,do you want me to say what i was told or .................... Edited to say that ,that will never happen so lets just leave it at that mat
  2. Everything ive ever hit with a centrefire has either been dead there and then or died after the initial adrenalin has worn off .Call me a liar if you want mate but fact is fact .If you are still advocating the .22 to total strangers then i must question your own ethics because having been there and done most things with the rimmy i know what is and what is not exceptable .
  3. Please don't Assume I 'Crave' or even seek anything more, Drops Mheanwhile; As long as people try to suggest I and the majority around me are liars, or at best delusional? I'll treat such with the level of contempt they are earning themselves. Ye talk of proof? Prove everyone on this Thread, apart from you and Dawn, are Wrong. Typical of people on a loser .Put the onus on the other guy to prove there aint ........... I dosnt work like that and you know it .
  4. Its a pity old Bri Plummer wasnt still about as i feel sure he would be in his element in coming up with a breed of dog to hunt these cats that no-one ever has any proof of seeing .Strange that .He was a dreamer too .FFS just admit that there are no BIG CATS alive in the BRITISH ISLES. Ps And Ditchy ,just to add ,Dont be so cocky without the proof you so strongly crave .
  5. Looks like you are to follow in Mr plummers footsteps there mate ,same dogs ,same way with words .
  6. Weve all done it /will do it but should we really be advocating the rimmy for fox shooting at all .Ive shot some decent ranges in the past but seen some run off obviously hit ,never to be recovered .If we are all honest about this then we would agree that its not the done thing .The rimmy is for SMALL pests and vermin .These days i never shoot at a fox with the .22 and have never wounded one with the centre fire which to me says it all .
  7. Essential pest control fellas, something that never stops with us either .
  8. Wren arriving at nest by the look of it ,centre of pic.
  9. JD - You really need to take this further mate .They are a disappearing breed ,all of them .No respect for the law some people
  10. We might be seeing some tomorrow
  11. Hope that luck of yours holds out a bit longer mate .
  12. Personally i would tell the farmer that you wont be using the terriers mate .I have personal experience of losing a dog to the fecking stuff .Bait boxes are not the failsafe containers you would think they are ,if used outside .Ive watched a badger turn one over several times to get at the bait and it spilled over a large area .The worst stuff ,and what killed my dog ,was a sweet tasting liquid, apparently ,that was put down once the rats were denied water ?Dog drank it and dead 2 days later .
  13. .......................Or maybe they can either way
  14. Just to clear something up for the doubters -This wood is in the middle of an estate that consists of a dairy farm and one other cottage that the keeper lives in .The cats are a legacy from a previous tenant but arnt encouraged around the buildings at all as the present tenent keeps valuable ornamental fowl ,freerange in a field .Its not the first that has been shot by myself or the keeper and wont be the last .Anybody with feral cats on their ground will know that they can be ghost like and litters are never found .In my experience ,ferals are no different in body weight to any other cat and
  15. $1 a rat .Perhaps he'll spend that on a decent spade , if he lives that long .RIP rat catcher
  16. Forgive me if i read this wrong but are you saying you culled 2 strange birds and kept a local for a decoy .The whole idea of the larsen is to provoke a reaction from birds with territoy against a stranger .Using a local bird CAN defeat this objective as local pairs will know the call bird ,even if you cant see the diference .
  17. AS a curiosity factor ,i can agree with the crossing of ferrets and wild polecats but for work definately not .Man has spent thousands of years n taming the polecat ,whether European or Eurasion or what and you are fecking that up in one generation .Any ferret like thing bit me or my kids and it would be curtains .Think about what you breed and why .
  18. NGO-£25 a year ,all the usual cover
  19. Personally ,i would of been paying the man a visit before putting anything on the internet mate .Youve given him time and warning to get the bitch to a safe place .My own feeling is that the bitch wont have gone too far ,especially if this bitch is doing the job and the man generally keeps shit .He will be wanting pups from this mate at your expense .Getting buyers will now be a problem though as youve brought it to light .Pay him a visit and at least get back what you think the dog was worth .Good luck .Its a sad affair but not everyone is as honest as we'd like them to be .
  20. Like you have said mate ,the fecking cat was unsettling them more than me or the sound of a silenced .22. Priorities mate .
  21. Surprising what the wind will take isnt it . No seriously mate ,good shooting . Poor head on that bigger buck mate .
  22. A keeper mate of mine phoned me to say that he was having big problems with the pheasant catchers and i expected him to say it was a fox but no ,it was a cat that has taken to somehow up ending the catchers and killing a bird ,letting the rest go .His catchers are the wire, with the door on the bottem ,funnel type and the door is tied shut .We think this cat has been scaring the birds into turning the catcher over ,which they could easily by all climbing the wire on one side .When the catcher is on its side ,the cat has scratched the baler twine until it breaks ,presumably .Four catchers in th
  23. Well done mate but shooting bucks in velvet does nothing for me JMO.
