  1. Jerry, jerry, jerry .Bring on the fat bird to give him a pasting he wont forget .Just ignore the twat .Its this sort of shit that pricks like him thrive on .
  2. The ONLY person who can give you permission to shoot the deer is the landowner .Deer do not come under game shooting rights and damage to crops is not necessary to get permission to shoot them .
  3. In answer to the first qestion mate -The spanable issue is only a rule of thumb and one that is quoted too often .I have a pat that has a barrel chest but she always gets right up to her fox ,anywhere . The answer to your second question is never ,ever kennel more than 2 together as sooner or later 2 will gang up on one and make a real mess of the other or kill it .Take this as gospel mate .
  4. If your referring to that bird mate ,its a buzzard .

  8. It makes me sad to think that the younger generation are scared to meet people because of this anti shit .You need to ask them questions about their sport and what their opinions are on certain aspects of it .Antis ,or messers for that matter, can always be tripped up on something simple .If in doubt ,ask about .Someone in the game will of heard of them ,good or bad .I find that people who talk too much are to be avoided ,but thats just me .
  9. Went down to Martins ground yesterday by kind invitation for a stalk on his permission .Anyway to cut a long a long story short i missed a shot at a doe not once but 3 times .I have been blaming the scope for sometime now so i stopped on the way home for a bit of one to one at a target . Back at my ground i decided to try a shot at a broken fence post with a good back drop and damn me if i didnt shoot the knot straight out the back of the post .Dont know why i did it but i glanced through the scope with my left eye and feck me what a difference .It was then plain to me that my right eye is f
  10. Roe have definately boomed mate .Personally ,i attribute some of there success to the upsurge in fox control after the ban on fox hunting with dogs .
  11. Perhaps he has a new girlfriend and wants her to smell like the old one
  12. Well ,thats just made you look a twat .Few weeks in jail You are looking at 6 months or a £6000 fine or both if your very stupid .No ,the right thing to do is check it out .
  13. Just to put a perspective on this ,we KILL EVERYTHING we dig ,mainly because that is why we are there .There is no shame in admitting this as seems to be the norm on here .We are very lucky in that we have an abundandance of foxes to dig/bolt every year .We are not there to show off our dogs to the landowner or each other .If the dog dosnt make the grade in what is deemed as a good enough period then one day it dosnt come home ,simple .We give the quarry no law ,no sporting chance .It is despatched as soon as possible in a humane way .Seasons are observed to a point but we ALWAYS attend call
  14. Dont care if i come across as a clever c**t 'cos i am but there is more to verifying a place than the shape of the hole or indeed bedding ,which ,just for the record is not changed nightly at all .Old badger settes will have remains of bedding outside which is only an indicator that it was ONCE an active sette .Fresh bedding is a sure indicator of currant use which in conjunction with pad marks in and out can be taken as gospel and will land you in the shit if caught with a dog in and digging .However ,the law in its present rediculous form states that anywhere a badger lives ,however temporar
  15. Always a joy to be out doing a service with good company and good dogs .
  16. The keeper had asked us to have a last look out to see if what he was seeing on the lamp was resident or not .It was a cold day Saturday so what better time to catch charlie in .We were to try an earth on the boundary that runs alongside an old railway that is a regular walk for dog owners so an early start was in order .The earth runs for 60 yards and has 14 holes ,is deep about 4.5 metres,so a bolt was really wished for!No sign for 15 minutes so a look with the bellman which revealed the dog was still moving fast .A fox bolted and pulled the net peg from the sandy ground and ran along the ba
