    No rain here mate ,cold spell actually .I'm guessing their passing through .No need to taste the scat mate ,could smell it before I found it lol ,steaming too .Nearest river about 6 miles ,pond that I know of 3 miles but wet boggy land tbh .Saw an egret there while back so some prey items about .

    I hope this is resolved mate ,look a pair of crackers to me and that scar will be with it for life .Someone on here will come across that dog either soon or in years to come .Wouldn't like to be the low life when you boys catch up that's a fact .Lock up your dogs boys .

    Mine was shot in velvet but remains the largest to date .As soon as a contender in hard antler is grassed I will replace it .

    Every animal has enough brain to tan its own hide .Take out the brain and mix it with hot water ,paint on then work sin over a post as said .Might have to rehydrate skin to allow it to absorb tanning .All taken from mountain men documentary lol,good old Tom .

    Get it on the wall Neil .Were the sika shot in velvet for them to be white .All hard antler we see are lovely dark bracken stained .As yet I've not got a decent sika on the wall but do have one from a beast in velvet ,stripped of course and that's how it will stay .

    Nice one mate .Rabbits are making a bit of a comeback here but not enough for excitement yet lol.Be a wile ,if ever before farmer shout about them .
