    Thanks all .Just back from walking the other two as maybe not good idea to walk her in public as she's pissing bright yellow and must be infectious .Heard the old bitch howling from home all the way round the walk .Shes eating better but her stomach is hard as a rock and bloated with inflamed liver,yellow eyes .Got a bit of condition back on her now .On tablets for 4 weeks then 2 weeks of another sort to clear it right up so she doesn't remain a carrier .Clavaseptim is the first batch for anyone wanting to home treat the condition in the future and if its available on line .Symptoms unmistake

    How so mate .Keeper near me snares all season ,rifles with night vision yet still we get a few digs after season .Terrier work will always have a place alongside any other control methods .

    Blood tests Friday .Can't fit me in earlier .I'm sure I've had it before ,long time ago but put it down to bad flu .Lasted about 3 months .

    Vets told me to get myself checked out ffs as results are back and its a nasty strain of the disease .Could do without this at the moment tbh.

    Thanks for asking Neil ,she is a bit better tbh ,ate a little bit and took a bone back into her kennel offered this morning.Back at the vets this evening for another fleesing session, I mean checkup .Shes 13 years old ,fit and a fighter so figures crossed .She is also the last line to an old stud of mine but has the blindness gene

    My 5 year old bitch had another booster to hopefully cover this new strain but no guarrantees she aint got it .In to the vet for £340 already with more blood tests and check ups .

    i would put a pick up of her but fear it would be used against us .Off her food ,dramatic weight loss in two days and a swollen ,fluid filled abdomen .Dug her last weekend too .

    My oldest bitch here has just contracted leptospirosis which at her age aint looking good .Shes always been up to date with her boosters but the vet tells me theres been two new strains of it discovered in this country since her last jab .I would urge all dog owners to get the latest booster asap or to at least phone their vets to ask the situation .

    My oldest bitch has contracted leptospirosis ,shes up to date with her boosters but the vet tells me there are two new strains of the disease since her last jab now in our country .Vaccines are available along with current boosters .I would urge anyone who does any ratting to get the dogs done asap ,have a word with your vet anyway .She will hopefully make a recovery but at a cost to her liver and my wallet .

    Seen lads wandering round and trying for a pin point mark in a straight line .Find the area then narrow it down with a cross search .On a banking keep the box held level flat not tilted to suit the ground .

    Im not getting something here .Ive never missed a terrier using any form of locator tbh .Move the box in a cross over where you suspect and use the smallest reading as your centre .Im bemused why people cant dig to that successfully.

    Your words strike an accord with me mate .Was refused the services of a gifted dog years ago,a dog i gifted freely that is ,cheeky c**t .That dog strangely found its way to a mates kennel near me .The homing insticts are very strong it appears .Dog went on to create a line for another good mate of mine . Of dogs past owned by others a few stand out ,Minor owned by JW ,a slow starter i would of culled tbh but went on to see a lot of work ,black rough coated bred by BW Spud a dog from DW owned by my arch enemy locally ,a lad i cant stand but had some good dogs just never knew how to work them
