    Was it a funded vets ,ie did the chap pay for treatment .We have a vets near us that spays ,neuters everything but its charity funded for benifiters .There is no legal reason to spay neuter a dog without owners consent .

    The collar on the side thing is bollocks .As a guide collars are put on with two figures underneath to allow for movement and not to restrict the dog in any way .I've dug mine with the collar facing all ways due to the dog twisting and never been out on breakthrough

    Box.Bitch out of NS stuff .She never stood for a dog in her life and had to be pts as the result of a spine injury from jumping out the back of a truck before her time .Spend couple of grand on her with vets bills and acupuncture but all failed to sort her and she eventually lost all use of her back end ,sad ,sad day .She stands out because in that era I was at it every spare moment ,travelling loads and she was the only terrier I had that I could dig to regular without the custumary lay ups for the rest .She was the reason I combined her type with my own stuff using her sister,Willow.

    Lol all that shit behind me mate .I use a Russell these days to gauge the depth and collar up a proper one when it comes out if the reading is under a metre lol.

    Mole,agreed mate it ain't a good memory for me 27 years on . Another time we ran a fox into what is known locally as a swallow hole ,a hole at the bottom of a bank that drains the field in heavy rain .The field was slightly v shaped which would funnel all run off to this place .It was drizzling when we entered a dog and I was relieved to track her with the finder and level out back under the field .5 ft in heavy clay was hard sticky going then the heavens opened .We were plastered but only 18 inches to go or there abouts on the old deben .We noticing water trickling down into the dig from th

    Maybe 25 years ago I was nearly killed in a dig .Stupidity and brazen hard headedness got me into it .We used to walk an old sand quarry by me that was riddled with holes ,some easy ,some not so.The lurcher did the marking and we tipped in wherever she marked and got away with it for several years .I've put this up before so apologies for repeating it .Lurcher marked a single hole at the bottom of a bank of maybe 30 ft of sheer sand face riddled with sand marten holes near the top.We entered a bitch of mine without thought of what would happen if no bolt occurred which was just the case .An ho

    Agree wholeheartedly with Neil .Women want to change a man ,mould him into what he is not,I've seen the effects on others and it wasn't pretty .My wife is a diamond ,she's never said I'm not going out nor moaned when I'm late but she does have the odd go at who I get about with saying the dogs are the reason they are now single lol.Our honeymoon was centred around a trip to the lakes to get a bitch covered .As long as this internet thing is taken lightheartedly ,even when the blood runs a bit then its harmless .
