  3. Being a Dad/Husband unlike other people i quite enjoy it. Fishing and Fly tying, but i count them both as hunting related activities. I play rugby for a local club (2nd Xv and veterans only now!), also watch a bit of rugby, passionate and one eyed supporter of Glamorgan County Cricket Club, although the one eye has been shut the last two years! I enjoy reading, and a bit of fun/fitness mountain biking. Cheers Aled
  4. Hello Guys OK i have no experience whatsoever of working terriers (only a bit with working gundogs) however i've read a lot on this forum about bushing terries, and read Colin Willox (Town gun in Shooting Times at one time) about his terriers. Could somebody suggest a good book on working terriers especially bushing terriers because guys i'd like to learn more. Any help appreciated. Cheers Aled

  6. Cheers Guys The Dubliners of course knew i'd left somebody out their still playing live i believe.. Saw them at the Welsh Folk Festival in 1990 and they were men of mature hues then, but boy did they get the crowd going Heres one a bit more obscure, a Scotish instrumental band called Shooglenifty, i've heard their music on many tv adverts and on sport highlights, but dont think they ever went mainstream. 14. I tend to vote for a person not a party. Dont forget there are some anti conservatives (Anne Widicombe) and pro labour (Kate Howie). Also with regards to the presonallity type. Will they give a dam about the local community you live ? So in my time ive voted for several parties but to date not Labour they've always had a right idiot in my area!!! Tight Lines Aled

  17. Thats a great story, i love seeing kids catching fish, especially their first. There's a stretch of water on my home river which is free for local kids and pensioners. This stretch is prime sea trout and salmon water. Some of the kids have landed some huge fish there, causing a lot of jealousy amongst local anglers ( ) something i find very amusing. Good on em kids i say! Tight Lines Aled
  18. Hi Tote There has been plenty of fish around this year, but only for those who worm and spin! iIve had some sewin up to around 8lb, however i've had three weddings, plus some stag do's and fishing has had to play second fiddle to these and my first year of parenthood ! Planning to have a few hours on Saturday. Tight Lines Aled
  19. Dad had been taught to fish by his Father, and he introduced me to fishing at 6years old. I caught a suicidal rainbow trout of 13ozs just before my 8th birthday i was hooked. Around the same time we had a black lab, Dad and I used to go rough shooting Dad loved the walk but was not a great lover of shooting. Shooting came with an air rifle in my teens, Mum was really not happy and stopped me having a 410, however as soon as i was old enough i got myself a shotgun cert and cheap baikal. Fishing, especially for sea trout is my first love, but i do love rough shooting, and air rifle hunting. I'm
