  1. Good old fashioned lob worms from the veg patch, in a bunch fished bouncing along the bottom. If you like spinning my personnal favourite is a mepp size 3 or 4 bronze anglia longue Fly's any type of shrimp pattern or a thunder and lightning. But what you really need is loads of self confidence that what you are doing is right, and salmon in your stretch of the river. Tight Lines Aled
  2. I also thoroughly enjoyed his programmes, but like nelson i always thought "sooner or later". Its sad news guys. Cheers Aled

    Most hideous lager

Whats worth noting is that sometimes even cheaper lager tastes OK. The tescoes home brand Dutch Lager (the one up from the blue n red band) is actually quite tidy when served chilled! Anyway Skol not really my favourite pint, can't stomcah special brew, but rather partial to Buckleys Brains IPA Cheers Al

    Shed

Havent got a shed per say but back half of the garage is mine: Usuall outdoor stuff, camo jacket, boots, waders, rods, lamps, plus fly tying bench, small fridge for beer and a cheap argos radio to listen to sport....nice place to relax away from the missus. Cheers Al
  5. The best fly in the entire world is in my opinion the one in which you've got self confidence in. Its better to fish the "wrong" fly well than to fish the "right" fly badly. All the flies put n here though are good fly's Tight Lines Al

  24. I have nothing to say on the BNP But i've been wondering how long it would be before a political party with the aim of forming an English parliment came into being. If i lived in England i'd more than likely support that policy. Why have'nt they got a higher profile in the press its the first time i've heard of them. Cheers Al
