Tidy looking terrier that bud.
-
More nuggets ruining the job no doubt.
-
Yeah I'm with you on that one Katchum, way overpriced crap.
-
One I made for the kids' rabbit last week. Nice and solid with liftable roof.
-
??

And how it should be, good luck!

I can imagine the bull blood doesn't help Foxdropper in regards to fighting.
-
Bullshit. The right ones are fine together, I have 5 out everyday. I've got mates that have 10+ together permanently almost and kept in check they're fine. Patterdales aren't some mini head case Pitbull.

A famous dog is defined when money is involved. An exceptional dog is one that gets the job done regardless.

How about Greengrass's dog, Alfred? He was pretty famous.
-
Schmeichel.

How many terriers can fit in each barrel?
-
I agree with the hereditory bit Neil, same as barking in the kennels! I had a b*****d but his daughter has taken his crown.?
-
They had some for sale in Aldi last week. I think they were £20 each or something like that.
-
Half sisters, enjoying the sunshine.

What? Taking guidance from the wider dog man community rather than from the local dickhead who owns terriers is worse? A lot more good information is available now.
-
Changed for the worst? Really? I think you're way off the mark. There's always idiots passing through this game, nothing can be done about that. But I'm pretty sure there was one or two undercover documentaries in the 80s that didn't bode too well for our sport? The world is a much smaller place now and it's a lot easier to figure out the clowns, plus there's plenty of books and information around now that helps young terrier owners in the basic principles of terrierwork, one dog at a time etc. What was available in the 80s? Plummer and his bullshit.

Young Molly.

I just mean are they not a hindrance when trying to dig? I can imagine they're not as comfortable as a normal lenght one with a D handle.
-
Can I ask Blaise, why do you use the long handled roundmouths as opposed to the more conventional types?
-
I love the romanticism of the good old days, but if we're honest, a lot of bullshit was spouted about dogs and there was no one there to disprove it or tell the truth. I think in this day and age of internet etc, the bullshitters are soon found out etc and the terriers are all the better for it IMO.

Beat me to it. 2nd from left. Broad thick muzzle on that one.

It's all about certain peoples personal perspectives. There could be a wanker that buys and sells dogs willy nilly, bullshits about breeding etc and then asks a decent lad for a use of one of his dogs, the decent lad knows this chancer is full of shite so declines, thereafter the lad that's been knocked back will slag the decent lad off to anyone that will listen and will do his best to tarnish his name. That's the game we're in, I've seen it with my own eyes.
-
I agree totally Foxdropper. Some lads are just naturally honest and decent and know that in life (not just terriers) that if someone helps you out or looks after you in some way, that naturally, you respect that person and would act the same back towards them. And then some people are just natural shitbags and dishonest and would take from anyone and then happily shit on them and that's just the way it is unfortunately.

When money's involved the bullshit's not far behind. Stick with the right lads who have the right morals and you'll not go far wrong. They're difficult to find but there is a few diamonds if you weed through enough of the shite.
