  1. ah i see, i give him a stroke mate truth be told hes a good dog usually only gets a telling when he hits the terrier a bit hard, hes a young dog and just plays a bit rough sometimes, i could do with another lurcher for him to chase after?
  2. Do you mean work does the dog do? If so … mainly rabbit lamping, mooching ferreting. Loves getting behind hares although obviously never be a match winner. And he’ll be on fox this winter, flushing to a gun obviously ? ??
  3. Mine does something similar he’ll trot perfectly by my side after a telling and very gently nibble my fingers as my arms swing. I’ll go from pissed off to all is forgiven in seconds little bastrd knows it as well ?

  11. I seen this young dog come up for rehoming today and thought he looked a bit long in the leg and wondered wether there be some sighthound in him? I know next to nothing of the breed though so probably wrong! if I had the space I’d have him.

  13. Aup Greb. I havnt seen that many in one area where I live since I was teen I’d say. Over 15 years ago mate. Exciting times if they’re on the up again. Not many lads round me run dogs or shoot either.
  14. They want thrashing mate. I come across an account on Instagram taking pics of his air rifle next to dead baby rabbit. Pathetic.
  15. Looks to me like rabbits are doing well this year. In the van and down the lane 05:15 this morning counted 30 odd in quarter of a mile on the road and verge’s. I’m on the way to Scotland. Pulled off the motorway in Lancashire down a few lanes to let the dogs out for a piss. Every field was full of them. Nice to see. I’m East Cheshire, Havnt seen that many together round me for years ???? Anyone seeing similar??

  21. my young dog 15 months old has run half a dozen daytime Hare and stopped one. He's no out n out hare dog mind you. I thought i was soft to be alright with them getting away after some real good tests. Id hate to kill every one we see. 1 in every 4, 5 or 6 runs i'll be happy enough.
  22. Seems like it’s constantly bred from. I read that some the cocker pages have stopped the lad posting the dog for stud
