My lad the other weekend, they'd closed the carp/match lake so we tried to fish quivertips on the silver lake, gave up after couple of hours and got him the whip out , I was ghillie for the morning unhooking , baiting hook and loose feeding....

I'm colourblind can't see anything in a red filter, I wear glasses these days but always had 20/20 could see eyes a mile away but couldn't make out what it was with red 30 yards aay

I got best part of a shoulder of lamb, didn't realise I'd run out of charcoal went to garden centre they wanted £20 for 8kg of briquettes so settled for co-op self lighting Namibian shite which is still smoking like hell after two hours so I fully wrapped the lamb in foil so it isn't ruined , kids had mates around last night so been tired and miserable all day I just got back from trying to fill raised beds which seems like an impossible task. I'm an island of joy in a sea of misery lol, not really beautiful day everyone is relaxing now and smoke is subsiding , gonna order a pallet of charcoal

Well I've been three hours knocking together and varnishing pallet bands for two raised beds on mums new allotment also dug out ancient fuscias for the front of mine. Took two pallets bands up the wife's allotment , broke a fork that I've now got to fix , I can't see the enjoyment of owning an allotment it's just graft for something that costs a quid in the shop , back at it tomorrow to back fill about a ton into raised beds , also siliconed the green house that is about to fall down , they better grow some tasty veg sake.... -

I was questioned by the wife a while back why I needed a teng socket set but when you're reliant on quality gear day in day out it's obvious why. I asked a supervisor once why he used inferior chinky gear and his answer was common theft , he'd owned all the good stuff and in his twilight he'd decided not to spend. I don't enjoy spending on work anymore but I like having capable geat and maybe one day my kids will have it and I'll have gained a bit through tax to own it. In the last couple of days I've had to assemble a chinoy wheel barrow and a badminton set probably made by children or prison

Yep well I don't like BBQ sauce and certainly don't have apple sauce on pork I'm more mustard so yeah , lamb will be sugar free and delicious fat

It's just to poach them a bit then they're smothered in BBQ sauce and given a bit longer , not for me but kids will enjoy , I'll have sizzling lamb chops/fat with salt and pepper

Picked these up in Morrisons gonna get them on smoker for hour or two and then finish them in a bath of Devon apple juice...got myself a load of lamb chops for BBQ later

That's a good deal I'm stoned out , I've a deluxe lansky I bought my late father about 6 yr back still unopened I might give it a whirl later , knife sharpening is rather therapeutic....
