  1. Just my opinion , but I think most first cross beddy/whippets are overmatched and tend to yap out of frustration. Not so much with a beddy whippet/grey or beddy/ grey. Dont get me wrong, I like a bit of beddy in the cross, I had a little bitch , Delta that was 1/4 beddy, the rest was whippet/greyhound/deerhound and never yapped in her life. Ive owned and worked many whippets, both ped and non-ped and never had one yap but I’m sure some do, again probably by being overmatched or started too young. Again, just my opinion, some will agree, some will disagree Cheers.
  2. I can’t speak for Wilf or Stiffy, but I’m busy enjoying totally destroying any credibility you may have had on the other thread Cheers.
  3. There’s a vid from last year about Trump by the BBC, that he’s now suing them for $billions, that they admit they edited to make it seem he was saying something completely different. No Russian scientist ever said it would be impossible to traverse the Van Allen Belt , they said it would be “difficult but not insurmountable “. You chose, for some strange reason to believe conspiracies rather than the truth. Cheers.
  4. READ THE ARTICLE !!!!! They are quoting RUSSIAN scientists. ! What is it you don’t understand ? Youre belivieving conspiracy theories and denying the truth ! Cheers.
  5. Don’t bother….,,, If you can’t admit you were wrong, I can’t see the point in carrying on with the conversation Cheers.
  6. The Russians said the three levels of radiation they discovered compared to the two levels of radiation the Americans had discovered would be “ PROBLEMATIC TO GET THROUGH BUT NOT INSURMOUNTABLE “. They then sent animals through it and back again without harm, so proving it WAS possible to pass through it. You are listening to tin foil hat conspiracy theories that have taken bits of information, cherry picked, distorted, taken out of context and misrepresented what was ACTUALLY said. Your favourite saying just now is “there are none so blind as they that won’t see”, how ironic
  7. Once again, complete and utter nonsense The Russians NEVER said you couldn’t go through the Van Allen Belt, they just disagreed with the Americans description of it; https://www.google.com/search?q=what+did+the+russians+say+about+the+van+allen+belt&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari&safe=active#lfId=ChxjMe Cheers.
  8. Still a lot more to come out, but it looks like the huge US build up in the region of men and matériels and the movement of aircraft into the area, along with the Americans bombing three bridges and a power plant yesterday, convinced China and India that Trump was serious. China and India are massively dependent on Irans oil and were suffering economically like the rest of us , so China has told Iran take the cease fire and open up the Strait, as if American did “bomb Iran back to the Stone Age” it would be catastrophic for chinas economy. A big game of bluff to see who blinked first
  9. Good read mate, you, like me, seem to have far much free time, to think about these things I could be wrong but I think the word “bible” simply means book, from Greek or Latin. It’s not confined just to the bible, I think “bibliography “ is French for any collection of books, and “bibliotech” is French for library. Any way, I don’t think you have to be religious to appreciate the bible, although it contains many contradictions and the old Testament seems completely different In it’s message to the New Testament, just as you don’t need to believe that Jesus was God to realise
  10. Aaaand relax Trump had cancelled the attack for two weeks. Cheers.
  11. Trumps last stand Cheers.
  12. I’m surprised no one has mentioned Dr. Strangelove ? Cheers.
  13. Guy Gibson , of Dambusters fame, had a black lab called Nigger. In the film they changed its name to Nipper . Cheers.
  14. Looks like it’s starting, breaking news, Vance has just confirmed they are hitting Kharg island and Isreal is hitting Irans rail network. Cheers.
  15. Sorry, my mistake, I thought you were referring to the “war crimes “ Trump hasn’t committed to but may do later tonight. Cheers.
  16. What? Like the missiles Iran is firing at the gulf state’s infrastructure as we speak ? Or can only America commit war crimes ? Cheers.
  17. It’s a long way from Northumberland Cheers.
  18. Big protest outside Downing Street right now in support of the Iranian regime, chants of Allahu Akbar. Cheers.
  19. Just being a bit of an Anorak here, but Abdul is Arabic for slave and is an insult to call an Arab Abdul. Most “Abdul’s” normally have gods name attached as in “Abdullah” or Abdulrahman, meaning “slave of God”. It also reminded me of the Monty Python sketch when they said “Kamal Attaturk had an entire menagerie named Abdul ! Cheers.
  20. Yes, that was the rule when I lived there, probably still is. You can’t “gain” Saudi citizenship, there is no immigration as such . You can get a residence visa if you work there, but it’s cancelled if you leave the job. You never qualify for any state benefits or hospital treatment unless it’s part of your contract. since I retired 22 years ago I’ve returned on family visa or as a guest of a Saudi friend , but that’s all changed now, you can get a get a tourist or visit visa on line in minutes. The place has changed remarkably since I first went in the 70’s. Cheers.
  21. BTW, I just saw your edit; I found “Wealth Of Nations” a heavy tome, but tried my best to gain something from it and it does make some very valid observations for a book written so long ago. Just for balance , I have also read the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx, another book with very interesting observations. Then again, I once read the entire “War and Peace” just because someone told me there was a chapter on wolf hunting with borzoi Cheers.
  22. I have nothing against sharia law when it’s practised in a Muslim country, “when in Rome” and all that. Britain is a Christian country with The Church of England as the state religion and laws based on common and civil laws refined over centuries. When I lived in a country with sharia law, it was my choice and I obeyed their law. Is it too much to ask for people coming here to live by and obey our laws ? As for winning an argument, no, I’m simply stating what I’ve seen. You say what you’ve seen, on the internet, is pretty tame. Watch it in real life then your opinion may change.
  23. Russia is doing it to Ukraine, China did it to Tibet and are doing it to the Uighur’s. They didn’t talk about it, they just got on with it Cheers.
  24. I’ve seen canings, hand chopping, head chopping, I’ve seen an entire Pakistani family, father , mother, son and his wife executed under sharia law, the mother and daughter in law shot in the back, the men beheaded, for smuggling drugs. My son was a British Embassy witness when EIGHT men were lined up in public and had their heads chopped off, Pretty tame, this sharia lark, isn’t it ? Cheers.
