As I’ve always said Francie, the saluki coursing bred is the best there is for daytime coursing, without doubt, but that doesn’t mean other types can’t kill hares, after all we were killing them well before the saluki arrived here As for Marks dogs beating mC’s at there own game, probably not, but I doubt very much any match will take place, but don’t write the Brick off, after all he’s done it before Cheers,

Sorry to here this, I wish you well There are many versions of chemotherapy for different types of cancer. My daughter had intrervenious chemo but my son had tablet form. I can suggest talking to MacMillans, they may have been in touch with you already. They would give you far better information , help and support than you will get from well meaning people on here, but it’s still good to talk on here if you feel it helps . All the very best, Charts.

To be fair he’s always been on the right of the Tory party, he campaigned strongly for Brexit, against mass immigration and he’s implacably against the Chagos surrender deal, the reason he gives for leaving. I guess political survival comes into it aswell but of all the Tory’s, I’d say he’s probably in the 10% or less that are actually “right wing”. Cheets.

I think it must be because the US already has troops and bases on Greenland and a 1915 treaty allows them to have as many troops and bases on Greenland as they want. I think he doesn’t want to defend it for free, he wants payment , as you say, in the rare earth minerals. Greenland is supposed to have 50% of the worlds known supplies. Cheers.

There are “fens “ all over England , but if I told a coursing lad I was taking him to the fens and I headed north to Widdrington instead of south to , say, Boston, he’d quite rightly think I was a congenital idiot In coursing terms, we all know where the “real “ fens are, and they are not in Northumberland, they are, as you say, in the “Fenland”. We’ve even got “fens” in Northumberland. The Letch Fen is some drained land near Widdrington village, and I remember a famous dog from the area, known as “The Widdrington Train” because it was said to hit the hares and roe “like a train” ! Cheers.

Starmer has sent ONE army officer to Greenland in a show of solidarity with Denmark…….So Trump has just announced 10% tariffs on us and anyone else who has sent military to Greenland, going up to 25% tariffs on June ‘26 ! Cheers.

Exactly! It’s only opinions, I will vote Reform for the very simple reason I can’t see a viable alternative. I hope they win because the only alternative would be disastrous for the country( another Labour government ? A coalition of the LibDems/ Greens/SNP ? Farage may not be able to get through Parliament everything he promises, not least because the Lords, where Reform has no Peers , and the Civil Service and Establishment will fight him all the way , but he has got to be a better bet than the alternatives. Im 73, owe nothing to anyone, reasonably comfortable, so I won’t be

I think Farages reasoning is he will need hundreds of MP’s and most of them will have absolutely no knowledge of parliamentary procedure, so having some that have been or still are MP’s will be a big help at the beginning of Reform win. He may be playing a dangerous game, but the polling shows he seems to be getting it right; more people FOR getting the likes of Jenrick in, than are AGAINST it. Im a bit dubious myself because I personally think Jenrick is an opportunist snake, but I think Farage is more politically savvy than me ! Cheers.

Much of the Arab world are appalled at Blair having any responsibility in the Middle East. They remember him lying to invade Iraq. The Arabs are still very “tribal”; they will fight and even go to war with each other , but resent outsiders interfering, especially people they consider liars. Cheers.

Was he a Cameronite ? Hes one of the most right wing Tory MP’s; wants to leave the ECHR, strict border controls, deportations , etc. He has said today’s Conservative Party is “ too Liberal Democratic “ for him, but is it just an act ? That doesn’t mean I’m happy if he joins Reform, I’m hoping Farage sees it as another nail in the Tory’s coffin, but I’m not sure. There is many Machevellian plots and twists in politics, I think Farage is out to destroy the Tory’s and sees Labour as his only challenger and are beatable . Interesting times . Cheers.
