Is that Advance UK mate ? I liked Ben Habib but when he said on tv the boats should be sunk, although many would agree with him, the. silent majority, the “middle ground” voters, I have spoken of that any party would need, would recoil in horror. He made a big mistake saying that. Looking at it dispassionately, it looks like he spit the dummy out with Farage and Reform when he was dropped as a deputy leader when he didn’t win a seat at the General Election. Another mistake, in my view, as I’m sure he would have won a seat eventually, it took Farrage seven attempts to finally becom

Isn’t the woman Candice the one the Macrons are suing for saying Macrons wife is a bloke ? Cheers.

I had a great expat life, then decided to retire at 50, ( it was actually 51 before all loose ends were tied up). We could have gone to live anywhere in the world but chose to come “home”, because my parents were still alive. We had a house here and because of our circumstances, we could still travel anywhere and our children were in Saudi and Australia, so visiting them wouldn’t be a problem. My parents are both gone now, and our two kids, I’m settled here now, but still travel a bit, my missus travels extensively. Did we make the right decision to come “home” ? I think so

Imodium can be helpful ! Cheers.

That will never happen while we’ve got a human rights lawyer as Prime minister and as Attorney General…… Cheers.

Over 1,000 illegal immigrants crossed the channel today; yes, that’s right over ONE THOUSAND TODAY ! But never mind; our new Deputy Prime Minister, David Lammy has been on TV today bragging about the three illegals that have been returned to France, yes that’s right ; THREE RETURNED……. Cheers.

Just had a look If it occurred, would it reach as far as North America ? More likely to affect the West coast of Africa ? Cheers.
-
I must confess my lack of knowledge of geology, but if I were to predict a tsunami, I’d opt for the Indo Pacific region rather than the Atlantic, but who knows ? Cheers.
-
Wouldn’t it be more likely the WEST coast of America, with the Pacific Plate and the San Andreas Fault ? Cheers.

Isn’t the “handmaiden “ American ? Cheers.

I had dinner with a colleague of my son a while ago, he is an Indian born Hindu , a colonel in the British military Intelligence and his wife is a British born Indian Hindu who is a lecturer in electronic warfare. Two of the most intelligent and interesting people I have met . Cheers.

My pal has had a good hatch of Chu Shamo, I’m swapping him a trio of my Irish Hennies for this stag chick and a pair of pullets ; Cheers.

In Saudi, the Americans and Brits were classed as far superior to the “third country nations”, and it was reflected in our salaries and conditions, we were far better paid and looked after than the “TCN’s”. The good old days……. Cheers.

There was Filipina nurses aswell, mate, but the majority back then were British and Irish at the hospitals I used. I think there was a worry about Asian nurses qualifications, fakes are readily available in places like the Philippines. Cheers.
-
I’ve had far more experience of hospitals in the last ten years or so than I wanted. The nursing staff up here have a huge contingent of Filipina and Indian sub continent nurses, and I’ve no complaint about them. Conversely, when I lived in the Middle East, the nurses were predominantly British and Irish. They all had one thing in common, going to work abroad for better wages, to make enough to be able to return home and live more comfortably. I went abroad for the same reasons, and knew the day would come when I’d return home. The Saudis employed the nurses and people

It says “ they have pledged to close 82 million INACTIVE accounts”. I don’t know mate, my wife’s cousin is married to a Vietnamese, I’ll be seeing them shortly, I’ll ask if she knows what’s going on Cheers.
-
Yes mate, I read the article and what I got from it was they didn’t say you have to give your biometrics or we close your account. It looked like they were closing dormant or dodgy accounts. Don’t get me wrong, I’m dead set against central digital currency and banking, I think it’s too authoritarian and too open to abuse by a corrupt government. Ive got a couple of dormant accounts, I keep meaning to close them, and for sure the banks will eventually contact me and say they have been suspended or closed. Cheers.

Perhaps if the same consultant and others like him who work for the NHS weren’t moonlighting in private practice, concentrated on there NHS day jobs the waiting lists wouldn’t be so long ? Just a thought. I hope your wife makes a speedy and full recovery Cheers.

Vietnam has a population of around 100,000,000. So has 86% of the population had their accounts closed ? Doubtful, as many children, peasants, etc won’t have bank accounts. Are some of these closed accounts a bit dodgy ? Money laundering, etc ? Cheers.

I’ve noticed a couple o the Labour benches. Isn’t Zia a Sri Lankan Muslim ? Cheers.
-
Labour is pushing through a law to make “Islamophobia” illegal. The police and the media are worried about, for instance , they won’t be able to describe rape or grooming gangs as “ Muslim grooming gangs”, they won’t be able to describe terrorists as “Islamist terrorists”. They would be breaking the law ! Islam will become a protected entity IN LAW. I am more worried about this than the unlikely event of Zia becoming leader of Reform ……. Cheers.
-
Tory MP and shadow minister Danny Kruger defected and joined Reform. Cheers.
-
Putting another slant on it; Every Tory defection is another nail in the Tory coffin. Farage can accept them as members , but then cherry pick them to be parliamentary candidates, and even then, not give them government positions if or when Reform come to power. Something like “ keeping your friends close, but your enemies closer “ ? Just me playing “devils advocate “ Cheers.
