    I realy feel for you mate, but is passing a problem dog on realy the best thing ? How are you going to feel if it bites someone elses wife or kid ? I think you have to think long and hard about having the dog PTS. I don't envy you this. Best of luck with whatever you decide. Cheers.

    Interesting thread ! Painless, you seem to be asking everyone else to open their minds, but it seems to be YOU who are being dogmatic and refusing to at least accept other views MAY be correct ! Darwins "Origin of Species" has a very good chapter on how ALL domesticated animals and plants evolved, and it seems to me that domestic dogs developed from different wild dogs in different regions of the world, whereas different types of pigeon seem to ALL evolve from the Rock Dove.     I've got two "Working Dogs". They are kenneled, they work, and they are treated like heroines ! I also have, in my house, two "pet" dogs; they get fed,excersised and looked after with the same intensity as my working dogs. If you keep a dog , weather pet or worker, they deserve the same attention , feeding, excersise, and housing !! Cheers.

    As with everything on here... there is TWO sides to every story !! We usualy only get to hear ONE side, though ! Then the "name & shame" brigade come on ! K100, if you have written permission from the farmer, go and talk to him, explain that it's nowt to do with you ! One thing that confuses me though, is the part about the shoot !! I can't see ANY shoot being happy about a load of young'uns on the land with air rifles ! Seems like there is a bit more to this tale than is actualy being told......... Cheers.

    Apart from my game book, I have another book, where I write everything about the dogs; when wormed, when flead, when in season, all injuries, etc. I have another book for my chickens, how many eggs, etc. So I suppose I quallify as OCD !! LOL !! Cheers.

    This will be my first season in my allotment. I've got half a dozen hens in, and they are laying well. Just put in four 8' x 8' beds and two 4' x 8' beds and filled with manure and topsoil. Seeing as I'm new to it, I'm just going to try red onions, white onions, turnips, leeks and beetroot. Basicaly stuff that doesn't take to much looking after, and what we eat all the time ! Cheers.

    I seem to remember a Fonz back in the 70's, and it was a dog. I had a bitch similar bred, Flossy, by Rch Yorkie Boy, out of a Greyhound,around the same time. As Sowhat says, some of the information on BWRA Data isn't correct, but it is a very good tool for checking back on Non-Ped breeding. Cheers.

    It's the law of supply and demand, mate. There was a limited amount produced, (1000), and they all sold, so anyone who wants one has to pay a premium, but then again, it is only "worth" what YOU want to pay for it ! Cheers.
