    Sad tale, that Andy. Kind of mirrors what happened to one of, possibly the, best Whippets of the late 60's here in the North East, Blue Boy, He won more than his share of races, killed any amount of hares and left his stamp on generations of pups, but was left to roam the streets in his old age, searching for grub and fighting the local mongrels, until he ended his days in a ditch, hit by a car,,,,,,,, no way for an old warrior to go.     If both the dog and bitch haven't finished growing yet, they couldn't have done any work yet...... So how do you know if they will be any good for breeding from ? Do yourself and the dogs a favour, give them a few seasons graft before even thinking about breeding from them. Cheers.
