I'd consider millions to be great money. The likes of O'Sullivan in snooker or Taylor in darts, have made millions in prize money, but more in sponsorship and exhibitions. Not as miuch as some sportsmen, but enough to keep the bailiff from the door. Cheers.

I'm watching it and the ref has just contradicted himself with Hawkins in a snooker. I love the game, but I admit I don't know the more esoteric rules ! I still enjoy watching O'Sullivan more than the old has beens or the new "automatons", he's why snooker is still relevant ! Cheers.

O'Sullivan is arguing the rules with the ref ! He missed twice in a row on a snooker and the ref has told him another miss and he loses the frame ! O'Sullivan says he can't see both sides of a red So the "three miss " rule doesn't apply ! I agree with him, but he's backed down ! Cheers.

Here's another from my list of "Strange But True"; My late son was a very young diplomat at the British Consulate in Saudi Arabia. He was at a State Dinner, and was placed at the table between Bill Clinton and the Queen of Jordan. My son asked why he was in such a prominent and privileged position, and the British Ambassador looked at him, and said; " to keep Clintons wandering hands away from Queen Noor ! ". Cheers.

Here's a bit of bullshit from me ; Some years ago, my late daughter was living and working in Australia. She 'phoned me and her mum to tell us they were having a "works do", and Joe Cocker would be singing a few songs and mingling and having a drink with the guests. I said to her " make sure you tell Joe who you are " ! She asked why, and I said Joe and I are mates from a long time back. She was understandably sceptical, so I said tell Joe I was a mate of his back when he was a gas fitter in Sheffield. Anyhow, Joe came to her table and she said her dad was an old mate

The jocks and taffs stuck it to Boris today in a well timed pincer movement. This morning, all four countries of the UK agreed on a unified position on the Xmas break. Then when Boris was announcing this at P.M.Q.'s, the Scots and Welsh moved the goal posts, and went on tv with different advice ! Now, I agree with the cut and thrust of political manoeuvring normally, but I think it's wrong to try and score political points during a world wide pandemic. Im sure the Tory's would do the same, given the chance, but it's destroying what very little faith I have in ANY politician

My missus bought me a pair once, they were about £70 back then, the real tree ones, don't know the model. I got a pair off my brother, blue ones, supplied by his job, again, don't know the name. I bought a pair of Aldi ones, £20, and couldn't see any difference. Cheers

I've had two pair of Muck Boots and the soles wore smooth very quickly and became dangerous. The neoprene snags and the rubber splits. I found them no better than the Aldi ones, at a fraction of the price. Cheers.

I've an Irish pal who must be in the running for the best bullshitter. He claims to have sparred with Nigel Benn, and Benn told him "no one has ever hit me harder than you, Sean ! ". Also claims to have been in the Para's and the SAS, and hold the record for a "halo" jump.......but he doesn't like to talk about it ! Strange thing, he is one of the nicest, helpful and most generous man I've met ! Cheers.

Many years ago a good pal of mine bred a litter of non-ped whippets, we kept the whole litter amongst friends. They all turned out decent racers and workers, apart from, sods law, the one he kept. It was 17" and not much good at owt ! So we were supprised one day when he walked in the pub with the bitch and the biggest hare I'd ever seen. The lurcher has game has more than it's fair share of bullshitters, and I've heard many simply outlandish, unbelievable stories. One that makes me laugh came from the biggest bullshitter of them all. He told some lads that he had lived and hunted with the red indians in America. Turned out he was on holiday in the states and had a game of pool in a bar with a bloke who claimed to be half Indian ! ? ! The lurcher game is a small world, and you're easily found out ! Cheers.

No histrionics or mind games from O'Sullivan tonight, just a workman like game. 1-0 down then wins 4 frames in a row to win 4-1. Missed a couple of shots he would usually put away, but his ability to play left handed made the big difference against Ali Carter. Cheers.

The Chinese guy showed that it's worth carrying on when your three snookers behind, last night against Higgins, even though he lost; but what the hell was O'Sullivan thinking,playing on wanting TEN snookers with only four colours on the table, then playing on for snookers with only the black on the table and the ref had to step in and end the game ?
