What's all this nonsense about not being able to squeak an adult fox in ? The only time they won't come in is when kids have been lamping them with curs that couldnt catch a cold has made them lamp shy ! I went out with a lad who had them running in like smack heads offered a free KFC, by rubbing a bit of polystyrene on the lamp glass ! Im no fox man, and my dogs could take a fox but couldn't be classed as fox dogs, but I've squeaked plenty in and the dogs have killed them. It ain't rocket science ? Cheers. -
Everything in my "man cave" has a particular memory of a time, a place, an event in my life.......it only has to please me ? Cheers.

May I respectfully disagree ..... As I've said before, ( and I'm a running dog man, not a Terrier man), a good working Terrier is not just an athlete, it's the canine equivalent of a Spartan, a Gladiator, it puts its life on the line every time it goes to ground, it goes into its enemies domain, down a tight tube, in the pitch dark to face a quarry that's fighting for its life. I know Terrier lads who have their dogs so fit they put most lurchers to shame. Be proud of the type of dogs you run........but don't under estimate others ? Cheers. -
I watched an interview with the head of the petrol retailers association and he was bemoaning the fact they "only" made 4p per litre profit. I also saw an interview with a government spokesman, and asked why we don't open up the North Sea oil feilds and become self sufficient, he said it would make no difference to the price as we would have to sell it to ourselves at the international spot price ! Absolute bullshit ! America is self sufficient in oil and they set the price at the pumps, which is half what we pay, Saudi Arabia is self sufficient and they almost give the petrol away to the

And the petrol retailers profiteering? Also the fact we shut down all or most of our refineries and import already refined products? Plus the "net zero" factor. Remember the wholly manufactured "fuel shortage" of a few months ago, when a government spokesman "accidentally" let slip concerns of a shortage, later blamed on a shortage of HGV drivers ? Queues around the block, petrol stations running dry, prices going up and the perfect opportunity for the government to slip in E10 fuel, more expensive and less MPG ! Did we suddenly find more HGV drives ? Of course not ! W

Just trying to simplify it here; The price of crude oil has been at this level, or higher, in the past, but the price of diesel/petrol has never been anywhere near as this high........Why ? Cheers.

I don't know, mate. I know a lot of people in the lurcher game but have never been a member of any of the cliques. I get on with most types, dogs and people ! ?? , but prefer to do my own thing or have a run out with a few that I trust. Cheers.

f**k 'em all, Scotty ! I won't give up on you, mate ! ?? ! Cheers. -
No, they are an AKC breed called "silken Windhounds", basically, (dare I say it ??), line bred whippet x borzoi. Bonny looking things, if you like hairy dogs, but I've never heard of them doing much more than showing and lure coursing. Cheers.
-
What do you think of these little hairy dogs, mC ? Cheers.

As with most things, there are different views and opinions and we never seem to get the full, unbiased story. From what I see, one of them has dual nationality, UK and Ukraine , and holds both passports, is married to a Ukrainian woman, has a home there and lives there. He's been in the regular Ukrainian army for for years. That doesn't seem to fit the description of "mercenary". There doesn't seem to be a lot of information coming out about the other lad, other than he served four years in the British army. They'll undoubtedly be used for political and propaganda purposes

There's a slight resemblance; ?? Cheers.

There's a Morrocan guy with them, same charges, same sentence. Cheers.

Any amount of foxes, mate. Especially in the fields near houses. I see them almost everyday hanging around my Allotments and the b*****ds cleared out my Cayuga ducks, killed six but only carried off two. To be honest, rabbits aren't my first or second choice of quarry with the type of dogs I keep, I like to run the hares and roe, day or night, but we cover a lot of ground along the Tyne valley and there are certainly nowhere near the rabbit numbers there were, say, back when we were doing the lamping competitions 10-12 years ago. Cheers.

When you used to come off at the Hexham roundabout, before they made the bypass, the verge would be thick with rabbits. Honestly, i lamp from Blucher, through Wallbottle, Newburn, Throckley, Heddon and all the way to Fourstones, both sides of the 69 and hardly see a rabbit. Plenty of hares and roe, though !? Cheers.
