A few lads I know from Yorkshire went to the states on a hunting holiday, I was suppposed to go with them, but I was on a hunting holiday of my own in Australia at the time. They did everything from badger digging with terriers to treeing black bear and bobcat with hounds. I saw the photographs and listened to the tales......I was well jealous! ?? ! Cheers.

I'm certainly no economist and I haven't got a clue how they measure national debt, but a friend tried explaining to me how around a third of it is money we've borrowed from ourselves and mainly due to the Bank of England's " quantative easing", (what used to be called "printing money"), and will never be paid back. So, £2 trillion or £3 trillion are just numbers, albeit HUGE numbers ! ? Cheers.

Interesting that you mention foreign aid. while all the political parties are talking about how to ease the cost of living crisis and how it would be paid for, not one of them has mentioned the £12 BILLION we borrow then give away to foreign despots. Why not start by having a moritorium on foreign aid. Stop giving it until the UK is debt free ? Mind you, that could take some time as we are £2 TRILLION in debt. Whatever happened to the old saying "charity begins at home" ? Cheers.

My brother uses a lot of rhyming slang that may not relate to the cockney. Just a couple that relate to going to sea to fish: "Couldn't get out today, bit to Billy" ( Billy goat gruff...rough). Or " it was to Mork" ( Mork and Mindy......windy). Of course, "Billy" should never get confused with "nanny", as in "nanny goat... coat " ! ?? Cheers.

Posers dogs.....good for nowt....eating and shitting machines. Were once genuine hunting dogs back in their own country, but now just expensive pets. Cheers.

Yeah, a friend of mine down there runs a mixed pack of bloodhounds and beagles on deer, and I see a few black mouth curs and their crosses being used on pigs and deer, so I guess coonhound would fit in, but there's no chance of us ever doing that sort of hunting here, unfortunately ? Cheers.

I was at a local show yesterday and got talking to a lady with a coonhound. I didn't get a pic, but it was very much like this "stock photo"; I'd never seen one in this country before, but the lady said they are starting to get popular. Probably as pets, as I can't see much use for them in the field here. Still, it was very interesting, to me, to see one and have a chat about it. If they do get popular, how long before the woke lefties demand a name change ? Cheers.

That's not the actual answer unless you know exactly what benefits Keith is on. Im assuming, by his age, that he is on the state pension, and possibly pension credits, which have different criteria than universal credit. I wouldn't dream of asking him what benefits he's on, thats his business and no one else's. The simplest thing would be to phone the 0800 number on the governments pensions website and ask ? Cheers.

Just a comment on women in men's sports; In the World Series of Darts in Australia, the woman given a spot, was destroyed by a punter. Now, I've nothing against women's darts, my missus was world ranked back in the 80's at women's darts, but honestly would have struggled at County level in the men's game. My point is Fallon Sherrock took the place of men who were far better than her. Why ? Cheers.
