“Pavement Apes”…….. that reminded me of a bloke I worked with many years ago from Georgia US who called black people “porch monkies” He was very racist, to be fair. Cheers.

To answer your questions one at a time( I haven’t a clue where or even if there are “no go areas in Scotland”, but I remember back in the 70’s when I was working in Glasgow and lodging in the Gorbals there where “no go areas for Geordies “ ! LOL! Ive never seen or heard of a big Muslim march in Newcastle, to be fair, the muslins seem to keep themselves to an area of the west end. From what I can see it is not the settled Muslim community that have been here for years, but the illegal immigrants that are hanging around every street corner in the city centre and the out of town shoppin

I’ve never ran from anything in my life, young’un ! As I’ve said, I like a lot of what you post, but deciphering the maelstrom of conspiracies in your head is way above my ken! Cheers.

You’ve got a Paki First Minister, the UK has a Hindu Prime Minister, Ireland has a gay paki taoiseach , can’t see too much difference between the lot. Cheers.

All the best mate ? Cheers.

Yeah, sometimes they have wheels , some just have a lifting handle at each corner. Cheers.

That’s fine if the water supply is nationalised, but the problem here is the water companies were sold off to foreign investors for a quick profit. So now the water companies are the same as the fuel , gas, electric, telephone companies…… if you want to use their services, you have to pay for it. Im not a great believer in nationalisation, I remember British Leyland and BT ! But in the case of water, well, we can get by without a car or telephone , maybe even without gas and electric, but water is the life blood of the human race so there’s a case to be made for re-nationalising the

Who pays for the pumping stations, the pipe lines, the sewage systems the drainage systems, the purification systems , etc ? If we want to drink from muddy puddles like the niggers, then it would be free. Of course we shouldn’t have sold off our water companies to foreign hedge funds but to think potable drinking water should be supplied to our homes free of charge is naive. Cheers.

A few years back there was a knock on my door; it was someone from Northumbria water. He was supposed to check the water quality next door but they weren’t in. I said we have the same water supply, so he could check ours. Anyway, we got talking and he asked if we had a water meter, I said no. He asked a few questions; how many in the house, water usage, etc. He said we should consider a water meter as he was convinced we would save money. They would fit a water meter for free, and after a year, if it didn’t save money it could be removed. So, I had one fitted and my yearly b

Did you ever get round to butchering those pigs or did they live to a ripe old age ? Cheers.

I ate plenty of goat when I lived in the Middle East. It was as available as lamb in the shops. If I didn’t know it was goat, I’d of assumed it was mutton; slightly stronger and darker than lamb and tasted fine . Cheers.

The likely bankruptcy and nationalisation of Thames Water Company is just another block being removed from the great jenka tower that is the rapidly accelerating decline and fall of the UK ! The consortium that owns TWC is a maze of shell companies, holding companies, pension funds, etc based in countries such as china, Canada, Abu Dhabi that have been payed huge dividends and paying massive salaries to executives but no one knows who would be responsible for the £14 BILLION of debt ! It will be the UK taxpayers and our water bills going up by an estimated 40% that will pay for it.

Yeah, I had a silkie that hatched and raised a lot of hen and duck chicks. I’ve got an American game x Bovan hen that the silkie hatched and strangely enough, she’s a good broody. Cheers.

I was slightly confused by this post ; YOU were the one who mentioned Nazi’s and I’ve re read the whole thread and can’t see any mention of sinking boats with women and children aboard. Cheers.

100% of the illegals crossing the channel are coming from a safe country……France. And a large proportion of them are nationals entering France from “safe” countries, for example Albania and Pakistan. They are not refugees, they are economic migrants coming from safe countries in the expectation of being better looked after here than in France or their own countries. Just because we allow them to stay doesn’t make them refugees, it just shows how weak our politicians from all parties are ! Cheers.
-
To be fair, the “Windrush Generation” were recruited and brought here to do jobs where we had a shortage of workers and to help rebuild the country in the aftermath of WW2, and they generally worked hard and assimilated. Contrast that with the illegal immigrants coming here across the channel who neither want to work hard or assimilate ! But I agree, they happily came here 70 years ago so why are we still trying to apologise for something that actually gave them better lives ? Cheers.

Brexit. Success? Too early to judge? Disaster?
chartpolski replied to jukel123's topic in General Talk
I think it’s extremely patronising to think that people choose one party and stick with it all their lives. Of course, especially up here, people say “ I vote Labour because me da did and so did me grandad so I will”, but people are a lot more politically savvy with the access to 24 hour news channels and the internet these days. Political parties change; the Labour Party was the party of the working class when I was younger, and voted for them for years, until they deserted us and became the party of immigration and identity politics. The Tory’s were right wing, the party of priv -

The left don’t believe in democracy. Cheers. -
Breaking on Guido Fawkes website: Whats app messages inviting friends to Bernard Jenkins wife’s birthday party show that Theresa May attended the party during lockdown. May excoriated Boris at the debate that banned him from parliament and refused him an ex mp pass. They are all lying, backstabbing shithouses, but this has to be the height of hypocrisy. Cheers.

My missus just said the other day that you don't see dogs on the street these days. We are in our 70's so we did back on the day, I remember Billy the bull dog, he was an English bull terrier, used to be outside our school with a brick or a tin can in his mouth, he looked like a real bull terrier and was harmless to people, but we all gave him a wide berth ! Whippets and lurchers were let out in the morning and a few of them were decent enough to leave a hare on the doorstep when you got home ! Rose tinted glasses ? ...... no, it's the way it was back then. Cheers.

Scotty, I like your input, but do you honestly believe this nonsense? I can see your dedication to these alternative theories, but do you actually believe the lies they tell you are any different to the lies the government and main stream media tell us ? No offence whatsoever mate, I just can't understand your thinking. Cheers.

Who the f**k do you think you are.....Astanley ????? Cheers.

If you want a sensible discussion on accents, the Geordie accent is heavily influenced by the Scandinavian languages, we say "gan oot" to leave, when I was in Sweden the exit signs in places said "oot gan", I could decipher most of what my Scandinavian hosts were saying,, many more words or sayings resonate, such as "gannin yhem", (going home), there's a lot more in common between the Scandinavian languages and the Geordie dialect. Cheers.
