  3. It wasn’t so long ago Tom Watson MP stood up in parliament and said there was a paedophile/child murder cabal in the British Establishment right up to number 10 Downing street . He was basing all his “evidence” on the words of a known fantasist who was later jailed for 18 years. Watsons punishment for ruining innocence mens lives ? …. He was made a Lord . Cheers.

  6. A lad at the allotments put a sign up “Fresh eggs for sale” and the council were there the next day and made him take the sign down and threatened to throw him off the allotment if he was caught selling eggs. I thought about setting up a table in my front garden for my grandson to sell fresh hen, duck and quail eggs. He would get a bit of pocket money, learn at an early age about working for a living, people would get cheap fresh eggs, everyone a winner, but I was told it may need a street traders license so gave up the idea. Cheers.
  7. I worry that any would-be terrorist watching how ridiculously easy it was that a number of people could cut through an airfield perimeter fence, gain access to numerous aircraft while carrying large canisters and film themselves for several minutes spraying a substance over at least two aircraft, in broad daylight ! The terrorist would think how easy it would be for a trained operative carrying a small, easily concealed , altitude triggered IED and attaching it to the fuselage of an aircraft would be, especially under the cover of darkness ! Cheers.
  8. Good question , mate ! They were/are around the same height and weight, the older bitch was 29” and 75lb, the new bitch has levelled out at just over 28” and 71lb. The older bitch matured much more quickly, killing daytime hare regularly at one year old, the new bitch was slower to mature. Id say the new bitch is slightly faster, strangely, as she’s out of a coursing bred greyhound, and a fraction sharper on the turn, but the older bitch seemed to have more stamina. Possibly the opposite to what their breeding would suggest. BUT; they both are/were a joy to watch in full fl
  9. Not a lot of people breeding genuine deerhounds or first x deer/greys out of good stuff these days ; a great shame ! Cheers

  22. Here’s a list of the vouchers for glasses, NHS voucher values for glasses and lenses - NHS WWW.NHS.UK Find out about the NHS voucher values for glasses and contact lenses. I can’t see how they could have been asked to pay £180 ? The vouchers can be used to offset more expensive frames, but the cost of lenses, whatever the prescription, should have been covered. Looks like the sales person made a mistake or the customer wanted some very expensive frames . Cheets.
  23. Need to change their optician ! Just last week my missus got prescription lens, varifocal sunglasses in designer frames for £105 from Specsaver. Cheers.
  24. Kids under 16 and kids 18 and under in full time education get NHS vouchers for glasses, that usually cover the cost of basic glasses. Specsavers give free basic frames and prescription lenses to children under 12. Cheers.
  25. Spanish beer combined with the Spanish heatwave, I reckon ! LOL ! Cheers.
