    Simple solution; get rid of them ALL ! Yes, it’s a simple solution, but much harder in practice, but if everyone voted for, say, Reform UK or an independent, it would send shockwaves through the establishment and maybe just usher in some change to our moribund, uniparty system. Immigration IS probably the most important issue today, but everything is linked, cause and effect.     Don’t you think that’s a pretty myopic view Wilf? If politicians are to busy lying, cheating , conniving and lining their own pockets, they are not going to put their heads above the parapet and tackle urgent issues like legal and illegal immigration. Everyone of these carpetbaggers need to be exposed and expelled, then we might get the remainder concentrating on the issues that matter most ! Just my opinion , of course. Cheers.

    Labour were, quite rightly , making the most of the scandal of the Tory’s betting on the date of the election, but call it karma, schardenfruede or whatever you want, it’s come back to bite Labour ! Kevin Craig , a Labour MP candidate, who donated £100,000 to Labour has been caught betting on HIMSELF to lose !! Labour have disowned him and given his donation to charity.     He’s pleaded guilty to one felony charge of espionage and has plea bargained a sentence of 62 months in prison , and the court have, evidently, accepted time served here in Belmarsh, so he’s going to the American territory of Marianas for a court to “rubber stamp” it, then he’s free and flying home to Australia. Well, that’s how I understand it. Cheers.

    I usually manage to blag free flights, either stand by or sub load so I usually go on some circuitous route . Last time I was down under I flew Newcastle- Dubai-Singapore- Melbourne, no bother. Coming back they bumped me off in Singapore for a fare paying passenger, so I spent six nights dossing in Changi airport as I was to mean to buy a ticket, then I got to Dubai and had to spend a night in departures at DBX but they got me on a Newcastle flight the next day , longest trip I’ve ever done , over a week from Oz to Newcastle.
