    I,ve fed day olds to my 2 jills since i got them from 8 weeks old however they do have a varied diet.My 2 are a picture of health so for me day old chicks must have some nutriton within them.I remove the egg sack as to much egg can promote baldness, well according to the books it can......

    Its only happened once with me.I had a court with 2 jills & 2 hobs,i bred from the working jill as the other jill wasn,t much of a worker.i put in a 10 week kit(jill) in with them,no problems,ferts happy,plenty of food.Went in to feed them one morning & the jill was eating the kit head first this fert would,nt even tackle a rabbit it was docile,soft as clarts needless to say i gave it to a mate who wanted a pet only...

    Took the gun out last Thursday night for the first time this year.Only got 2 due to the shoot being like the Somme they could hear me a mile off.The way the weathers going up to now don,t think i will be out regularly till May(hopefully).

    There defientley ticks not her nipples .If they are ticks get to the pet shop/vets & get a proper tick puller you can get a pack of 2(large & small gauge) for £4,ish they work no problem.Tick removal has been discussed on here & there,s other methods of removal but the pullers are what i prefer....

    I use AA Field .22 in my 410c & i find them a accurate,consistent pellet.I prep mine to get rid of the odd bit swarf, odd damaged skirt.I think they weigh 16.2g so there one of the heavier round head pellet & when they connect with a rabbits heed they make a nice whack .

    I use the Tracer Pro 12v & i,ve had no problems with it.The dimmer is very handy & i also have the coloured filter set but i mostly use the red filter.There is better built,brighter gun/handheld lamps out there but it,s what YOU want out of the lamp & how much £££ you want to spend....

    Difficult one to call MT I think its one of them situations that you have to be there to appreciate the predicament You say he,s in good nick perhaps the previous owner has just let him go?Perhaps he may quiten down in a couple of days.....Personally i would give him a try, you never know
