    From your posts those shots weren't taken not because of uncertainty but because you couldn't get a shot off? Regardless of quarry a shot should only be taken once it has been correctly identified and is safe to do so.

    I've never actually saw a mole apart from hanging on fences, that one on the bottom looks a fair lump. What size are they generally?
