  7. My little doe has finally had her kits around a week ago their mum is a great little hunter but also a great pet she is proud of them and i have been close to them but still keeping a distance from them at this stage hopefully if i can get 3 to 4 bucks for new stock I will be happy with that . My question is I have in the past put my young ones to work with their mum at around 6 months old is that a bit to early. Second of all I will keep one of her daughters for breading as milly is getting old . With the older ones I will pass them on as pets as that are friendly when handheld but do hunt
  8. I feed mine kangaroo meat venison tin kitten food with minced up chicken frames they get the kitten food once a week mixed in with other meat for the vitamins, the kitten food I buy is all meat not the one with vegetables. I also get a small supply of two weak old roosters which they get whole. The one thing is when you feed them rabbits do you leave the skin on or skin them. I know everyone has their own thoughts on it. I have found that the skinned ones seem to get eaten quicker than if they have their skin on. The other one is when I give them eggs what is better as a raw egg has a lot les

  10. This is just half a Ute load we ran out of room so we stopped ferreting. That was two days and four of us and we run whippets as well . I don’t take many photos as I should . The place we went was only 2 hour drive. But we have plenty of places within 10 minutes from home but the numbers aren’t that large maybe 30 to 40 on a good day e

  20. Holly molly we definitely don’t see these things in Australia we just build our cagers I will post some photos on what I have built over the years my only question is how often do you clean it out, as I have a area in in all my cagers where I have mesh on the floor and a tray under it to catch all their poop ,
  21. Looks great personally I would put one hole on each level and if you ever wanted to close it of just put a concrete paver over it That’s what I have done to my large cage for when I need to seperate my ferrets.
  22. You may have to google it as that was a screen shot.

  24. Is their any one out on this forum from New Zealander that has actually seen the problem with the rabbits over there I was put onto this by the rabbit whisperer a while ago and is the problem still ongoing. Interesting watching and I think this is the one where a man shoots a rabbit and the lady doing the interview walks in front of the gun afterwards .
  25. I have put up the odd ferret free to good home as they were definitely no good for hunting but make great pets not once l have had anyone complain about distance and have been more then great full for it. I don’t let just anyone take it I do make sure that they have had experience with ferrets in the past.
