I have but if you're too dense to let it sink in I don't know what else to do.

And I've explained why but it's just like knocking on wood with some folk. The vaccines have never been 100% effective and are even less so with the Delta variant. Now seeing as though the majority of the old and vulnerable HAVE been vaccinated I'll let you try and work it out yourself, I won't hold my breath mind. ?

Don't talk silly mate, if the impact of a crash is severe enough a seatbelt won't stop you from dying. The vaccines reduce the chances of serious disease and death, that's undeniable mate.
  4. Eh? ? What's that all about mate?
  5. I can't say that mate as I've never met him but I know he did ask my uncles mate who was bang at it with the deer to be in one of his books. Don't know if it's true but I've head he gets stories off lads and writes them down as his own. Still, it looks like he's done bits himself and many folk vouch for him so I imagine he's a decent sort. Fair play to the lad if he's made a decent living out of writing books.

How many times does it need to be pointed out though mate. The facts are most of the old and the vulnerable have now been double jabbed so it's of no surprise given that they are not 100% effective to see that many of those in hospital have been double jabbed. I simple example that folk always bring up is very fitting. Say out of 100 fatal car accidents 95 were wearing a seatbelt, does that mean that seatbelts don't work, of course not but if you are just looking at the stats with no context one could try and argue they don't.

No I'm really not. You're trying to compare a fella who doesn't work in the NHS to front line staff who are mixing with the old and vulnerable. Like has been said, it's a shame these vaccines aren't 100% effective but we can only deal with reality.

Show me the studies that confirm that having caught the virus doesn't lessen the chances of catching and transmitting it in the future?

I've told you, I've had the virus. Plus the fact that I'm a machine and didn't need hospital treatment, I jumped straight in to the deep end and didn't drown. Clearly I didn't need the vaccine mate. I don't work in the NHS and I'm not amongst the old and vulnerable either. Did you find any suggestions before asking another stupid question? ?
  10. I was going to reply until I read the last lines, I ain't growing a mad monk at almost 40, it will age me 20 years. Does anyone know if they provide toupees?
  11. Cracker she is fella, seen you're thinking about putting a beddy lurcher over her? Don't you think putting a coursing dog over her would be better mate, they would be belters?

That's it mate, they may not be perfect but they reduce transmission and reduce serious disease. Again if some folk have any better suggestions I'd like to hear them? No good moaning about cancelled appointments and this and that if many won't help themselves. At the end of the day the NHS is stretched, is there any wonder why they are pushing for folk to get vaccinated? And yes the vast majority of folk are fine after contracting the virus but that small percentage that do need hospital treatment are a burden that possibly could be prevented.
  13. Beauty that side profile pic, looked a handy dog pal.
  14. Is that third rabbit General Woundwort, looks a proper bruiser.
  15. Condolences Bird mate, must say he was one of the most handsome looking lurchers you could wish to see. Bang that pic up of him mate.
  16. Chill out Lecter. Tbh I'd eat Stew if he looked that good.
  17. That pudding is way too big to be kings brain.
  18. I'm just glad there's no videos of what Roberto Duran did to a horse that pissed him off.
  19. I don't think Socks has ever killed whippets mate.
  20. Come on mate you haven't hand dug that, who you trying to kid? ?
  21. There's a big blue bull cross in it that my mate owned but had to get rid as he was getting sent down, think it's in one of his lurcher work books. He asked one of the lads who was flat out with it to star in one of his books, he rightly tuned him down IMO. Don't understand why you would want that attention tbh, each to their own I guess. Still, they make good reading and if he's done bits fair play.
  22. Like what, don't tell me they're pulling red stags? ?
