  1. I saw that yesterday, good lamp then, 2-3 hours out of it.
  2. They look a faff? I'm just after a handled lamp you can charge at the mains mate.
  3. I can see them with my eyes mate tbh, still, doesn't have to be LED, just a solid handheld lamp/torch that doesn't give up the ghost after a couple of uses.
  4. I'm after a decent handheld lamp/torch, heard the LED Tracers are decent, after something about the £50 mark.
  5. I'm not going to lie and say all 3 were monster slips, I recall one of those hares was picked up quickly after it got out of the seat but the other 2 were decent runs tbh.
  6. I'd hold off, your next trip may be to Mars.
  7. Yes but he specifically asks about how to catch during the daytime. We are arguing over bollocks. Let's just all agree there's better ways to bring a dog on than using droppers but if he has no over options then he risks sickening the dog. And like we both said that can be solved on the lamp.
  8. You're missing my point but I'll say it again, netting rabbits is not sporting, never has been. Folk can do as they please but netting them isn't giving the rabbit a sporting chance.
  9. Exactly what I've said again mate, if all the rabbits in that area sit tight during the daytime he's better off expanding his permission if he wants to catch often in the daytime unless of course he goes ferreting.
  10. If he doesn't have any ferrets or a busher then he will just have to get used to catching thin air during the daytime it's as simple as that.
  11. Read his post very slowly and carefully Poxy, he specifically asks what is the best way to get a daytime catch. ?
  12. How is netting rabbits sporting you fecking numpty?!?!
  13. That's it mate, again it's not something I've ever needed to do cos I've always mooched with a busher or gone ferreting during the daytime. I know what they are getting at though cos all that could be taught on the lamp.
  14. You are a fecking idiot mate, explain how netting rabbits is sporting you clown. ? It's just an effective way of getting the numbers, nothing more, nothing less.
  15. You haven't read his post properly cos he clearly asked about the best way to catch a rabbit during the daytime.
  16. So what's he going to do without any ferrets or a busher, hedge sitters ain't easy during the light.
  17. He's specifically talked about daytime catching mate not lamping. If they are all sitting tight in that area he will struggle without a ferret or a busher unless he travels somewhere where they are easier to catch. If rabbits have been run often they are not easy for any dog during the daytime.
  18. You don't agree that it gives the dog a bit of success and that it would help a dog with it's chase and catch? I can see why people think it's unsporting but you can only piss with the dick you've got. To save a lot of heartache he would be better off bolting them with a ferret and everyone's happy. ?
  19. You sound a tad sensitive for this game mate. ? Chasing and catching doesn't educate a dog, you're right mate. ? Read the post, he's talking about daytime and how he can't get close to the rabbits. And if you read my post again you will see I said if he wants to hunt those hedge sitters regularly during the daytime he'd be better off getting a ferret.
  20. Why the confused look mate, netting rabbits is all about the catch mate? I'm not fussed if folk want to net rabbits but it ain't exactly the same as bolting them for the dogs is it? I just find it amusing the uproar of folk using a dropper for a pup when it's no less sporting than netting a bolted rabbit.
  21. That it may be but netting rabbits isn't sporting let's be honest.
  22. Hedge sitters will always be difficult for any dog mate, he could just stick to catching thin air I suppose and he will sicken the pup. I've never needed to use a dropper but even I know that it gives the dog the experience of the run and catch. Like I said, he can do all that on the lamp and it will save folk crying over the unsporting actions of using a dropper. ?
  23. Get a grip you soft twat. ? If you want to get all menstrual about things netting rabbits isn't sporting is it? He's talking about daytime catching here and unless he gets a ferret or a busher it won't be easy for a pup if he can't get close to them during the daytime. There's numerous ways he could give the pup a few easy catches, like travelling further afield, etc.
