  1. Just putting out there, one of the lads who kept operating his 360 at 11 was a scouse ex-squaddie, go figure. He probably had just forgot tbh.
  2. I still don't get how they are not banned, not that I agree with the DDA. I thought Pitbull type dogs were banned unless there is strict measures?
  3. Rhys who bred bull crosses is now breeding them, each to their own but not for me even though do look well. You might as well get the real McCoy.
  4. 50, you're just as bad as Shipman. ?
  5. I've always wondered how long it will be before it vanishes if it ever does, I hope not. I mean I'm sure those throughout history have honoured the dead in battle but eventually it becomes a distant memory and left in the history books. I suppose Remembrance Day is in memory of all that have fallen but it's emphasis is of those killed during WW1.
  6. They were recognised by their own club, sort of makes sense when there's money to be earned.
  7. I know fella but I'm sure the lads that know what they are doing can do the same with most breeds. Professionals even tow with Mali's, the police dog that recently ragged my mate was destroyed because after it finished taking chunks out of him it locked on to the coppers gut and shook him all over. ?
  8. Yes lads I know why they would like that, maybe I should be aiming that rant on those that train them? Do you actually need a license to carry out protection work or can any Tom, Dick and Harry do it?
  9. I know fella but some of these folk get their hands on them too. Mali's can be hard work even for folk who do it for a living, my mate who I told you about who was ragged by one. It was destroyed cos after it finished him in turned on the copper and locked on to his gut. ?
  10. Another thing for me, what's all this protection work that every chavy cnut is getting in to? Unless you're a professional is there any need, I know Downsouth is in to that sort of thing so maybe he can tell more? In my view a dog shouldn't really be taught anything like that, it should be natural for them to guard and protect IMO. Like I said if you're a professional I can fully understand but where is the lustre in it for Jenko who sells weed and sniff?
  11. I've always thought that tbh, passing away like going under an op would be bliss wouldn't it. It's about time they made it an option.
  12. But this dog was a XL Bully, they have probably got more Mastiff in the mix than the smaller types. Regarding their temperament, I can't say I've been around any so couldn't tell you but if they're anything like my brothers American Bulldog I wouldn't trust em as far as I could throw them. Look, any breed can have bad specimens it's just that when something like that flips it will take some stopping.
  13. So you will put yourself forward of my proposal of mandatory euthanasia at between 60-80 depending on how a medical screening says how much of a burden you are. ?
  14. XL's don't come out at 14 inch to the shoulders.
  15. We switched off our machines at 11 and had a 2 minutes silence, was quite sad as it brought my mind to a relative who died at Gallipoli aged 21. Just a quick thought of his parents losing their child at that age who probably didn't fully understand how bad it would be.
  16. Yes that's all they are really I'd say.
  17. APBT and Mastiff from what i believe, could just as easily be Am Staff crosses as well I guess.
  18. Don't you think it's past that stage though fella, I don't think there's a cat in hells chance of winning them over?
  19. Can of spray, you know the rest lad.
  20. Whatever you do don't ask @stop.endas he is busy killing Silverfish at a customers house.
  21. It just shows you the attitude of some of the owners that these dogs attract. By all accounts it was known as being man aggressive which should have set the alarm bells ringing for anyone with an ounce of sense, instead it's been pissed from pillar to post when it should have knocked on the head.
  22. But when you have idiots doing the exact opposite with them you can see why problems arise, they are big, powerful dogs and if they have a bit of drive and are encouraged to be aggressive then you're going to have trouble.
  23. I know breeds like Akitas can be dangerous to people even though ours have been great with kids. I trusted our Akitas a hell of a lot more than my brothers American Bulldog, even though it was never aggressive to me or any of the immediate family it just had the look that it could flip at any time. One day I was taking it out for a walk with my ex birds kid and in the house and outside it was fussing him, sound as a pound. I let the kid in the back seat and opened the boot to let the dog in, once he jumped in the dog flipped out, snarling over the kids and it would have crush
  24. Are they though, to me it looks like they are bred by folk who sell them to idiots who love gang culture life. To me you're just asking for trouble by mixing something with the intensity of an APBT and using them like that.
