A lot of variables, if you were driving the land in a heavily fox popuated area then 100 was easy(ish) to account for, on foot on similar ground you would be happy to call in and account less than half that, some spots on foot it was easy to see 12-18 in a nights lamping yet not all those would come in to a call, and of those that came in not all would be close enough for a slip and on those that were run not all would be caught, i also had some spots where foxes were persecuted with the rifle so you were lucky to see a dozen a season on that land and they NEVER came in to the call............

Its a noise you never forget, known two dogs have bad breaks, one came back strong, the other didn't.......I have also been ferreting with a three legged collie lurcher that was amazing, is still caught plenty of bolters......

I rarely owned dogs capable of 19 a season As lapin said, it depends on the time of year, the land, conditions etc etc. I wouldn't like to say, although i would say you clearly think hes full of shit or you wouldn't be asking strangers on the internet

I think prices are variable, im planning on breeding a litter in the spring, i'll be keeping one, mates are having some and any spare pups will be sold, im not gonna charge the earth but im not selling them for peanuts, hopefully a price gives them some value in the eyes of the buyer as unfortunately pups are disposable tools to many idiots and if i dont think the potential buyers warrents a pup i wont sell them one. I have paid between £125-£150 for a terrier pups, £180-£300 for lurchers and hell of a lot more for my shepherds, all this "working mans prices" shite makes me chuckle, most will
