  7. in our area we get quite alot of sparrow hawks and buzzards flying over the decoys . father in law said he was out one day and seen a sparrow hawk lift a shot pigeon , and take it further down the field... also ive seen a buzzard drop onto a dead pigeon that landed in the field behind where we was shooting from ..
  8. bike is cheap at £1350 they are still going for around £1800 for this age and model
  9. drums on the back of the gearbox .. they have a transmission brake thats why i was asking how you checked the handbrake wasnt stuck on... quite a common problem on landrovers it needs stripping down and greasing up the joints with a good high temperture grease suitable for brakeshoe joints. used to happen all the time on works landy , a good knock with a hammer will release them (while the handbrake lever is in the off position) but if your going to do that make sure you chock the wheels up ..
  10. when you said you checked the hand brake wasnt on how did you do it ...as it sounds likes its sticking to me

  17. wouldnt want the seller there while i was trialing the dog just because it might work for him but not you... years ago father in law was out with a dog with the owner and watched it pull out and kill 2 foxes , so bought the dog. took it home and tried and tried the dog himself and wouldnt kill a fox , swapped the dog for another because he didnt have no trial with it , and lo and behold the dog would kill foxes for this other lad lol.. imo its not just the dog on trial but your on trial for the dog .. if it dont like you it aint gonna work for you ... and if i was selling or buyin
  18. tony blair sending our soldiers to war in iraq & afganistan ... sending more than 200 soldiers to there death . boy as that man got some blood on his hands
  19. it depends who you fly with
  20. Officially, citizens of the UK or Ireland don't need a passport to enter Ireland from the UK, but all other nationalities do. But you need some form of ID to prove you are an Irish or British citizen, and the only form of ID generally accepted are a drivers license or a passport. The drivers license must be a UK or Irish license and you must have been born in the UK or Ireland. This is because the drivers license doesn't state your citizenship, only your place of birth. To use it as evidence of citizenship, you have to have been born in either the UK or Ireland. Technically, only those born in
  21. you could try forcing him to retrieve but its not a good idea if you dont know what your doing
  22. i do like the wheaten cross but no one seems to have them and same with the bedlington too much show dogs being used and the lurchers not what they should be my dog as wheaton and beddy in it aswell but you wouldnt be able to tell if you didnt know lol.. agree with the show point
  23. Northern Ireland you can just use a driving licence or provicinal licence for flying or ferry ... didnt think you needed a passport for southern ireland when flying but i guess you do lol if you are going to fly with ryanair no matter where you are going internal flights aswell you need a passport as they have changed there rules in october 2009 a friend got caught out by this flying from belfast to england ..
  24. i own a bull x but he aint no bragging tool (i didnt buy him cause of what x he was i bought him because i liked the look of him)... yes he kills foxes for me but i use him for filling the pot.. i never bring a big bag home, if i catch a couple of rabbits then i head back home or if i manage to shoot a hare for the dog to retrieve i head home and thats what keeps me happy i think a lot of the old rough coated lurchers are still about but younger people are being influenced by people bragging about certain xs .
