  1. Interested what you think Collie brings to the table Butch Agility and brains [bANNED TEXT] put over a grey/deerhound this i have witnessed:thumbs: as above
  2. HONESTLY if the bitch was half decent she'd of been put to a greyhound IMHO theres a big difference between an open racer and an open winner Y.I.S Leeview i know someone on this site who had a very good well bred greyhound who was going to let some one breed a litter of lurchers out of it ...... if your happy with both the sire and dam its up to you , but you have to ask yourself will you be able to sell the pups look in the for sale section people have been giving dogs away that are well bred and out of good working dogs .
  3. on foot with a lurcher seen as its still legal here
  4. lb you will look a fool with a deer/grey it will be bigger and heavier than you i dont think you'd be able to hold it on a slip oj lol i like the deer/grey but i think youd be better with some collie in the mix say a deer/grey x collie/grey
  5. gamebirds are classed as livestock while there penned thats why i asked about the deer. id be careful as if he shoots your dog and you got no witnesses if you did go to the police i can see which side they would choose to believe
  6. if deer are in a enclosure/pen will they be classed as livestock ????? im not saying these ones are just a thought that popped into my head when reading this

  10. some can not all do ... mike brown whippets are meant to be good ...
  11. some whippet x greys can be a bit thin skinned and can have feet that are easy knocked up . (i used to have one 7/8s grey 1/8 whippet she was spot on) not all are like this takes you to look at the parents see how they are..
  12. he is thinking of buying it you numpty thats why he is asking for opinions about it
  13. good cross for rabbits imo what type of ground ou going to be running your dog on if its rough ground you might be best off looking for a collie x or beddy x whippet
  14. he would of been shooting behing when using clear pigeons, trap cartridges are faster its not the cartridges, its the person pointing the gun clear pigeon are not s**t cartridges, they will and do kill 7 n half 28 grams is just disrepespect for your quarry and gives shooters a bad name well he shoots fine with GB 30g or 32g no6s ... and the person as been shooting while you were still shiting green so knows about speed of cartridges and all the other technical stuff... as for the cartridges can you explain why its disrespectful??????? 7-1/2 28g kill cleanly and we shoot good

  17. mk1 is easier to use imo mk3 if your going to use one tape up half the speaker holes to cut down on the noise (not my idea but its a good one lol) other than the ease to use i cant really comment because i havent used both enough to really compare them .
  18. couldnt be arsed reading all this shit ... why do people try and put down the good people on this site ......
  19. we dont use no fancy pigeon cartridges .. we use 7-1/2 28 grams trap cartridges at the moment we got eley ones cost £37.50 for 250 but cartridges are more expensive over here ps clear pidgeon are shit seen a boy fire a box off and hit 2 where when he uses a trap cartridges is shot ratio is very high 22 outta 25

  22. and if your going to order one check http://www.ianhodgefieldsports.co.uk he was advertising the striker and blitz at the same price of £72.50 in last weeks country mans weekly
  23. blitz if your dog needs to run 27 fields before it can catch its quarry or striker if you dog can catch in the field your in
  24. if i was you id look up some old posts and look at pics of dogs see what type you like .. wheaton xs , beddy x greys , beardie xs ,border xs something with saluki through it should all be able to do what you want in 3/4 x form as poacher says a good lurcher x lurcher is another option ..
