It happens with spring powered air rifles due to their relatively slow lock time. I don’t think that’s the case with cartridge rifles though, the bullet will have gone before the recoil happens.
I definitely found the old 40 grain Winnie’s better than the 42’s. I haven’t bought any more Winnie’s since trying the 42’s twice with the same results. Ok, but not as good as the 40’s in my opinion.
Might try them again then. I don’t suppose you’ve still got the box? If so, could you post a picture because I understand that the current ones are now in a different box. I don’t want to buy the same ones as before again. I want to make sure I get the latest ones by checking the box in the shop before I buy. Thanks if you can?
Have you bought any eley recently vm? They were my first choice for years, but recently not so good, I’ve tried them again a couple of times and I gave up on them. Hopefully they’ve improved?
