  1. Nice one Ben, how many traps are you running?
  2. Glad you had a good time Mark. Looks like your little dog’s having a well deserved breather??
  3. Yerr, hopefully get it set up over Easter David ??
  4. Thanks to smithie, sent me a Yukon photon including adjustable mounts totally free of charge and wouldn’t even let me pay the postage. It just goes to show that there are some great blokes on this forum. That’s generosity for sure. Thanks again....??
  5. Wondered where you’d been FD. Good to see the videos again fella??
  6. ?........six rats and another stoat today.

  8. RWS Z Lang @ around 47 ft lbs, I’ve used these at up to 75 yards. There’s cci bc long, but they’re only accurate to about 30 yards. I used to use Remington c bee’s @ 40 ft lbs they are basically a yellow jacket hollow point with reduced powder load. They were brilliant for what you are looking for, but I don’t think anyone is importing Remington rimfire ammo atm, so unless you can source old stock somewhere it might be difficult to get any. In fact, I’d like some more of those myself.
  9. HW’s eh? At least they’ll make a bob or two at the weigh bridge?............ Only joking fella, I’ve got three myself. Good rifles. I don’t think you’ll wear ‘em out anyway ??
  10. Looks good, how thick is the back plate, have you tried them with hmr?
  11. Ive used anything from cb caps, shorts, cb longs, z lang, hollow point subs, high velocity hp’s. They all work in the right situation. At 40-45 yards, squirrels on the ground I’d choose z lang or hollow point subs, whichever suit your barrel.
  12. I know what you mean Ben, my daughter is a wheelchair user and I get the same thing.......and all the other stuff that you will know too well.
  13. That’s bang on, unfortunately. We’ve been looking after children and young people in the care system for twenty years, turned some of them round and they’ve taken a better path, a few haven’t, some have been adopted and are doing well. Still in touch with almost all of them. As you say SL, they invariably have deep rooted damage that will stay with them and affect them to varying degrees throughout their lives. Sad but true. The babies that get adopted young are probably the luckiest of them as they’re usually less damaged. There’s much more to it of course, but you will know that..........
  14. Brilliant crag, that’s got to be one of my favourite “sports”. I’ve had some great memorable days on the squirrels ??
  15. I don’t think I came across any marksman .25’s back then John. I’ve got some now and they work well in my .25 striker. The bsa was lovely to shoot though, I wish I still had it really ?
  16. Still beats watching sh1t on the box Mark ?
  17. Looks like a nice set up Jon. Are you allowed mill dots in hft? The Simmons wtc’s are good tough scopes mind, I’ve got a 3.5-10x50 on one of my rimfires, it always keeps zero, even when it gets knocked about a bit. I’ve also got a 1.5-5x20 wtc, lovely little thing. ??
  18. Don’t take it the wrong way Herron, plenty of tongue in cheek banter on here fella. Stick with it and enjoy the forum, there’s some really good helpful members on here................. and me as well ??
