  1. Should be a good scope and retails at about £500 but I think they’re on offer. If it doesn’t have mill dots that’s something to consider, otherwise I believe they’re good but I’ve never used one myself.
  2. Villaman uses them and I believe he’s had favourable results ?
  3. Yerr, didn’t notice the date. Hope he’s ok......?
  4. Yerr, glad you’re back on SD. ??
  5. That’s nice yer jammy fcuker ................enjoy??
  6. Yerr, I had one in .25, very tight bore (243) and as vm says, only really worked with rhino’s. I shot loads of ferals in factories and rabbits around factory units at night with it. It cost me £99 new and it was really nice and smooth to cock and shoot. I regret selling it really. The lad I sold it to fitted a gas ram and I think it spoiled it in my opinion. I sold my airsporter S at the same time to make room for a Theoben sirocco, which I still have. I thought that the supersport was better than the airsporter in every way. I will have another one day.
  7. Yerr, got a 12 ltr but it’s out of test and got about 200 bar in it. I just wanted a pump for back up. I wouldn’t fancy pumping the impact up to 250 bar though? ?
  8. All those years we used beatall and marksman pellets from the local corner shop and they seemed to work ok. I don’t think we knew any better or even if there was any better available. My local hardware shop still sells marksman. They’ve just gone up though, from £1:37 to £1:50 for a box of 200. I might just treat myself ?
  9. Hmm, no comparison then. Mine must have been more like 100 pumps to get up to 100 bar. Something seriously not right with mine then.
  10. How long did it take to get to that pressure Tom? Mine seems to take ages to get to 100 bar.
  11. That’s the one I bought Ben, I’ve fitted a stronger non-return valve spring and plugged the whip. Just pumped it up to 100 bar, seems to be holding but it took a while to get it up to that pressure. I’ll have a look in the morning to see if it’s still holding pressure.
  12. Can’t find any at that price atm, cheapest I found was £24 on fleabay. Loads of pumps that look to be the same but with massively varying prices.
  13. Let us know how well it works charging a rifle. If it’s ok, I might start saving up.........??
  14. Yerr, they should still be on general license imo? Herring gulls for sure, what a pest, and it’s as if they’re scarce?
  15. Yerr, it makes you wonder. Also got a pressure gauge. How do they do it, manufacture, assemble, ship and still make a profit for less than a fiver??
  16. Looks good. I can’t get mine up to that pressure. Don’t know what’s wrong with it but I got a refund and still have the pump. I might invest in one of these. Have you pumped a rifle up with it Tom ?
  17. Funnily enough I’ve just come across a couple of those bags when tidying up the other day. Might plant a few early spuds....I’ve got a new dibber as well?
  18. Looks like it’s been a success ?
  19. I saw these on the internet, some strange looking designs that are probably crap but it would be amusing to try them maybe? The “Newboy Senior ” pellets made me grin, “designed for serious air gunners “ ?
  20. I think the whip might be a bit big in bore size. I need a 1/8 bsp adapter so I can try my other whip. ?
  21. Haven’t you seen the sheep in Nottingham, why do you think he moved from wales??
