    I’ve used the tnt’s to good effect, found them accurate but the aren’t as frangible as the tipped bullets. That’s not always necessarily a bad thing though.

    That’s interesting vm. I’d been looking at fentons titanium cylinders but only the longer ones in stock at the moment. A&M are about 45 minutes from me in one direction and Ratworks about 45 minutes in the other direction. I’ve been to A&M and had my hmr cut and recrowned, Adrian did it while I waited. Since fentons were out of stock I’ve been looking at ratworks plus a tench reg. I don’t know..??.Anyway, if you pm me with a price I’ll certainly consider it. What shot count would I expect from the A&M in .177? Thanks??

    Have you got a shop vm? ? my hw100 is k, as for thermal, I haven’t looked into them in detail yet. A pal of mine has one, don’t know what model, but I’m hoping to have a play with that and see how I get on.

    One shot and they’re gone, I’ve not bothered much for that very reason. As you say Stav, you’ve got to keep showing willingness if you want to keep the land, or there’s always somebody else who will.

    To be honest, I’d been thinking about a 12ft lb crown in .177, the only thing is, I think I’d be paying for adjustability that I can’t really use. Also, the money would be better spent towards a thermal spotter. Anyway, must use my hw100 more, wouldn’t mind a lighter cylinder on it though, and a few more shots per fill would be a bonus.

    Yerr, hmr ammo has been low on stock here, and it’s gone up in price. It’s cheaper for me to use homeloaded .22 ? hornet than hmr now.

    Had a walk around one of my shoots today, not a lot to be seen vermin wise other than a few new squirrel dreys and a some rats. Also got another stoat.

    They’ll never be “eliminated” and that’s one of the reasons. The best we can do is try to control their numbers, and enjoy the sport while we’re at it??

    Good shooting SD. Do they still make hullmax? I’ve got half a box from years ago, I think they’re bb’s if I remember correctly.

    I don’t know if you noticed SD, but that pigeon has a longer beak than usual. I’m very observant when it comes to wild birds, that’s why I spotted it.
