  1. You ought to try one of those nite site’s’ ,they’re supposed to be good?? ???
  2. Yerr, they may be small, but they aren’t in the air for long at eighty yards?
  3. .......and make sure he pays you as well. ?? ?
  4. They went from £11:99 to £13:49 and now £15:30. Bizarrely I can get SK’s @ £5:85/100 and they’re superior in my opinion.
  5. They were £8:75/100 here but out of stock now. Next lot will probably be similar to what you paid. Small rifle primers have gone up by about £2:50/100 recently as well.
  6. Good shooting fella. Nice to get them with the spring guns as well. Like you say, they can be awkward in a hide compared to a precharged rifle. Great result ??
  7. Best idea Phil. A box of each and you can see which you’re barrel prefers. My cz .17 is ok with everything except Winchester, it doesn’t like those.edit to say, I wish I was going to forest lodge, haven’t been for ages. Love that shop but it’s a bit far for me??
  8. Hmm, I think his money would’ve been better spent on a wmr barrel as he uses it for foxing on a smallish area of land. Most shot well inside 100 yards. Not sure if or when he’ll actually need to use the spare .17 barrel, but who knows?
  9. A friend of mine has a quad with two hmr barrels? He says the spare is in case the other one gets shot out.
  10. Cheers BC. The Remington at that price doesn’t have a built in/on moderator, it’s the open sighted version.? I’ve got to say, they look pretty well engineered for the money.
  11. Yerr, been going to Birds since I was a kid....??
  12. How are you getting on with the Remington? I’ve a chance at a new one for £125, just wondering if you could give us an update. I might buy one.
  13. ....and then you need to wash your face to get all the grease off your chin?
  14. Yerr, supernova brings the grin factor, mine is 24” barrel, I just wish we could have the 18” version...??
  15. Did you say you were hefty or lefty? ? What about a Browning bps bottom eject?? Loads of used pump actions for sale very cheap. I’ve got a benelli supernova and they’re good, but probably one of the most expensive pumps. I’ve also got a mossberg hushpower pump 20 gauge, not the build quality (more agricultural) of the benelli but a good tool. It depends if right side eject bothers you? Ooerr missus.........??.
  16. Mine charged £15 and did it straight away. I think they just think of a price on a whim because they all seem to be different. Either that, or they refuse to do it at all, then it’s £60 for medi-cert.....?
  17. I usually like to get them as low as I can, prefer them that way ??
  18. I’ve got a little 3-9x40 Nikon on my anschutz .22, lovely scope with bright clear optics. With the bdc reticle I know my aim points out to 120 with subs?
  19. He used a fixed bubble spirit level, great tools, you can’t get it wrong. All you need is one of those and a round toit. You can get all your jobs done when you get a round toit.??
  20. Good idea, they might be a bargain, but they might be crap. Only one way to find out really, worth a try a that price anyway. Let us know how you get on with it.... ??
