  1. David, surely you aren’t suggesting that rude vegetables (for example) are off topic? ?
  2. I bought one from Aldi about five years ago, works great, photos and video. I think it was a bit more than £20 though, can’t remember but I wasn’t very expensive. It’s called maginon, I’ve been happy with it anyway.
  3. Another big un ‘ere, size eleven squirrel.
  4. Got to admit, the lurpak light is shite. I’m not guilty of that one.....nudey vegetables friends though,.....maybe ?
  5. Nothing to do with the shoot but just preparing dinner. Peeled the spuds, anyone for parsnips?
  6. Makes sense, I didn’t know the .177’s were more expensive?
  7. What calibre did you get sam?
  8. Great write up again Stav. Not sure what’s going on in the third picture, somebody taking their pants off ? ?
  9. Interesting, personally I wouldn’t have paid that for the ultra. I can’t knock the ultra, never even used one. I think a side lever on the bsa’s is long overdue, especially with the new thumbhole R10 model. But to me, they don’t appeal like the crown does at not a lot more money. What calibre is your pals 12ft lb crown Phil? I’ve been hanging my nose over one for a while, but can’t decide whether it’s worth it for a 12ft lbs and I don’t have a spare slot for any more fac air.
  10. These from Tesco shooting section.......?
  11. I wouldn’t know, I’m scared of the dark....?
  12. I had five idiot moments yesterday, flushed five pheasants and missed them all. One of those days......couldn’t hit the side of a barn if I was stood inside...?
  13. Cheapest I’ve bought recently were SK high velocity hollow point at £2:70 per 50 box.
  14. You could at moorhall stores, bakewell. They sold everything from bread, milk, newspapers, tinned food, clothes pegs, firewood, beer, fags, lottery tickets, guns and ammo etc....... they stopped selling live ammo when Covid caused supply issues. A shame, as their prices were better than all the guns shops around.
  15. Thanks Desmond, I’ve found them to work and stay in position on rimfires, never used them on a springer, but they wouldn’t hold on a .22 centrefire that I fitted them to. In their defence, it does say airgun and rimfire mounts on the box.
  16. Yerr, I agree Mark...how something that should be so simple can be made so difficult.?
  17. It must take them all of two minutes to do it. I can’t complain as my doctor did mine straight away. It was an easy £15 for him, but I’m happy enough with that and no hassle.
  18. I appreciate the skill involved, just find it boring to watch?
  19. Have you checked if your doctor will do it Tom? My doctor only charged £15, I think MedCert is a last resort if your doctor declines.
  20. That’s what it’s all about, a good time had by all, brilliant ??
  21. Have a good day lads...........Looking forward to the write up and photos on this one.......??
