In my opinion dogs are more devoted and willing to please than bitches, and it seems easier to get a good dog than a good bitch. BUT when you have a good bitch, they are GOOD and better than a good dog. But if you are looking for something of a larger size and the bitch doesn't have enough ommph to her, then of course you need a dog. I personally prefer bitches. Oh also some bitches have the "princess" factor, where they act like their "shit don't stink", but a little bit of domination usually fixes that. With one exception my best have been bitches. I'm looking at breeding my bitch Slag to one, thought I'd made up my mind that it was the cross I wanted but I have more thinking to do based on some of the comments made by some people I know and trust. They are such an "always on" type of dog, so drivey, so so so much, it isn't a cross to decide on lightly.

That series isn't at the library yet but we requested they buy some, so hopefully our tax dollars will go towards buying some that we can the rent! Are You Being Served" has become our tradition at bedtime, pop in the DVD, I'm asleep in 10 minutes and we have to rewatch it for 3 weeks to make it through the 6 episode DVD! They have something like 40 of them at the library, even some are interview and behind the scenes versions. I find it strange that MOST of the DVD's and VHS tapes abailable for rental at the library here are BBC productions? not sure why? The Amish here are required to have lights and reflectors at night and those big flourescent orange traffic triangles (some counties require flags as well) on their buggies if they are traveling on roads, even an unpaved County Road. There are some areas with heavy Amish populations where there are roads put in for carts and buggies to cut down on the traffic issues.
