  1. we have a plain old Mexican Red Rump found in California, we've had her for almost 5 years so she's got to be getting old now. THAT one you have is gorgeous, and if I was ever going to get another, that would have to be the type. LOVELY! when you say it's not for a beginner, do you mean they are agressive and can't be held? Ours just hangs out in it's terraneum, it's not handled. Or is that type not appropriate to be kept in "regular" terraneum conditions?
  2. #1 if they are kids and thieving b*****ds now, they are just learning how to be adult thieving b*****ds later #2 what about the skank who knew she had stolen property? please tell me you did more than just thank her for giving you YOUR dog back?
  3. I'll need to check them each out and the make up the subscription form, tape it to the bathroom mirror and maybe one will end up under the christmas tree I got onto the homesteading forum, (forgot I was actually a forum member there!) and posted a message and sent some PM's. Got 2 contacts in MO but the emails aren't working any longer so I'll have to call when I have the time and a bit of spare cash. Anyone know what type of shelter they need? A 3 sided place okay, or do they need something more? The goats/chickens have a nice barn but they'll stand out in the rain unless it is pi

  5. Darcy that was one of the nicest Chinese meals I've had, and yes you doubters he picked up the bill! Your lass was nice and we enjoyed her visits to Vegas! And yes feeding him is another full time job! Millet & Von that was even before you were hooked up if I remember right? What a crap day for watching coursing (no really exciting runs that I remembered but an experience nonetheless), but a great day for rolling down the burm anyone still have those pics? oh and no comment about the last 3 pages of disgusting skanks who smell TP after wiping ... unreal

  10. I have a girlfriend who tried a few different things with her dogs, she had some that were tattooed in their ears, some inside thighs, and some freeze branded on their outside haunches. Of course the only dog that ever went missing was one that she hadn't had done yet, she'd been in a car crash and it's crate broke open, all of the others that were branded and tatted were snug and safe in their crates, poor Fancy's crate opened and she was g-o-n-e. Did get her back a few days later due to posters and running about the county. Oh and she always branded/tatted her Social Security number as
  11. MOD when you have more experience you can better use your judgement regarding waiting on an injury. We have waited a couple of hours up till the next day sometimes to see if they "snap out of it" as far as an injury goes, but even when money was sqqqquuuuueeeeaaaakkkkkkyyyy tight, we just HAD to take the dog in if it needed it. While you are learning it is best to err on the side of caution, I won't insult you by saying "you are young, the old know better." That's a bunch of crap, I know a lot of young folks who know way more than the average old dude. BUT listen to us old ones are saying

    pups missing again

glad you're getting them back, not everyone does. My favorite russell (literally a 3 legged dog but he was not called "Lucky" ) 2 autumns ago was left out in a run as always, he squeezed out as I must not have done it up right. We came home that night and no dog, the bitch was still in the run ... we never saw hide nor hair of him again and I STILL look out across the fields hoping I'll see that f****r hopping his way back. Coyote, car, feral dog, lost down to ground, we have no idea. May be macabre but I'll say that I'd rather find him hit on the road than never know what happened. I onl
  14. Have you done any action types, or "fire in their eyes" sorts?
  15. some of the articles are way too pet-ish for me, but some have been quite good. Maybe Kye will read this and take the hint for a Christmas gift!
  16. looking for ex-moocherz member M Calvert whose wife did some artwork for some of us on there ... you still about boy? Please PM if so, or if anyone knows where they've got to?
  17. sorry about the dogs, hope you help them find good homes, but I had to laugh at your "forced holiday" description. He's lucky to have you be able to help rehome the dogs, good luck
  18. I think it's nicely done, do you have a few other examples? Have you done any "action" type of drawings? I had a couple of drawings done from pictures in the past for Kye and Kye's mom and for myself, don't regret it a bit and treasure those drawings, wish I had done more of other dogs I had. Do you have an approximate pricing per drawing depending on size?
  19. if true it's the lazy way
