texas off's dozens of inmates a year and they don't sit on "death row" for years and years. Utah still has the fireing squad as an option (if you so choose). Those 2 states have the idea IMO I also think pedos should get the same penalty

this one finally had to be PTS at age 16 after she had cancer, she was my first Russell and I miss her every day. Up till the last few weeks she never slowed down and always did everything asked of her. this one was still going 100 miles an hour before he died from coonhound paralysis, I will never again try to nurse a dog with that horrible condition, it was a terrible way for a great dog to go. He had been to 3 coon in a treeset, 10 days later started showing signs, it took 10 days to run its course and almost at the end of it his lungs paralyzed and that was it. He made me laugh

There are a lot of exceptional dogs here, and it was a struggle for me to decide what to do which is why it took so long to decide. But she's not getting any younger, over 6 now and proven herself to the toughest judges, me and Kye. He's got a brindle rough dog that is better on the jacks than she is, is the right height/frame etc, but he is just a bit too sensitive for my taste. There is a brother to Kyes blonde bitch that would have been a good choice, as well as a saluki/stag owned by the same dude we were very graciously given these others from, even a hardblood whippet was considered.

it was a coyote and yes a good dog should be able to take them singlehanded, that was their first coyote which is why we slipped the 3. Her dad was a good single handed dog, mom was on offtrack greu

well done Georgia, you can't go wrong if you truly have a passion for it. Being young and willing to observe you will learn 100% more than an "adult" starting out as you will watch and listen and see what works (and doesn't work) for the people who you are being taught by, and then changing and tweaking that info to fit you, your dogs and personality. My daughter is 13 as well and we say she's more of a "boy" than my son is, he could care less about hunting the dogs while she is mad for it, as well as being helpful with the dogs, livestock and chores etc.

I've known lots of sporting dogs who have had ACL's successfully repaired but not achiles tendon, good luck to you though

have you put some sugar/electrolytes in their water, and are they being kept warm/under lamp? You might put one or two "healthy ones" in with them to help keep them warm as well, but watch to make sure they aren't being picked on. good luck and keep us updated!

It took me 3 years to finally decide on what to cross Slag (slick staghound bitch) to. I have my pick of all sorts of breeds and crosses and have really struggled with the decision. I've read and talked to people about the GSD/Dutch/Mal crosses done, as well as all sorts of other crosses. Part of my delay was making sure that she was truly exceptional and not just "good enough to breed", this season she more than proved herself to all quarry to my satisfaction. We keep several other running dogs that fulfill a variety of needs, so deciding on what we could use the most in our new area took

none here at work but I'll post some up tomorrow, she's a bit smaller than Liz but as she's still a pup its not surprising that she's still scary small, she'll be able to get anywhere. And what a personality, she makes me laugh every day. She is terrible to the other dogs, ragging up Hex and Cadno mercilessly and constantly gets away with everything

a couple of months ago (with ice still on the ground) Kye called me at work to tell me Demon had been scratting about in a field near the house that had quail set aside on one side and cattle on the other, and had run back up to the house with an exotic longhaired guinnea pig in his mouth. Obviously it hadn't escaped a pet store nor had it been living wild, it had been dumped out here as we are a few miles outside of town on a county road. Brainless idiots just don't think.
