  4. Blue Coyote quarter it, and in a pan put a pad of butter, splash of oil and a couple of crushed garlic cloves. Pan fry on medium till crispy brown, season with a bit of S&P, it's perfect!
  5. check out "lick granuloma" (not sure about spelling) but it is basically a habitual licking that generates endorphins (getting high) ... we have something available here called "Bitter Apple" and "Bitter Lime", it is a spray that can go on furniture, walls, clothing, fur etc and discourages chewing/licking/sucking. Maybe worth a spin round a pet shop.

  12. don't know anything about the taxes and such, but we had one for 10 years before Kye decided he wanted to be Evil Kneival and jump a telephone pole. Put 280k miles on it, never got us stuck, but some of the parts are quite expensive (water pump for a honda accord is $50, the Rodeo it was $250, that sort of thing). That being said if I could find another one, I'd buy it in a heartbeat
  13. I'd love to know for sure and not just "I heard...". Is it a sales ploy by B&F or not? How do we find out for sure? We own a set already and love it, I just don't like the confusion on the matter?
  14. I have a dog who always threw one pup with rear dew claws, and his pups when bred later (ones without the rears) also threw them. But it is pretty unusual all the same
  15. I love fishing, and am so thankful for the warmer weather! Missouri is bordered/crossed by two major rivers (the Mississippi and the Missouri) and have a huge number of lakes, and thousands of rivers, streams and creeks. Boating, canoeing, kayaking, floating, tubing, fishing etc is a big deal here. A large number of farms hold at least one "farm pond" which unless cattle are standing in it, is known as a fishing pond. There are more fishermen here than deer hunters, and that says a lot! I'd say just about anyone who is into the outdoors fishes. Catfishing is probably #1, our cats ar
  16. a few of ours are terrible for it, both rolling in it and eating it
  17. I don't know if this helps, but Kye and I got our first 2 goats (dwarf pygmys) for 25 quid for the pair from a breeder/fancier. One was an adult wether (no nuts) and one was an adult female who had been bred but had to have a c-section, so they just wanted rid of her. And as they are herd animals we wanted to have a pair at least. They have been wonderful for eating down the grass and weeds and leaves off branches but the lads who said they don't necessarily eat want YOU want them to are right. They will break out of their pasture to eat the EXACT same grass that is on the other side of th

  20. Went to Home Depot (our DIY) and they sell "bird" and "deer" netting ... it was quite cheap, I think about $10 for 3x100 foot roll. Seemed easy enough just as Ditch suggests
  21. I've seen signs in the town where I work saying $40 per mole ...
