Do you mean it acts strange if Jupiter and mars don't line up perfectly with the moon? Yes it is. There is a .30 if anyone wants it. Parker Hale too.

Thermals, jibba jabba mumbo jumbo nonsense. Atb.

I only have a Parker Hale Jag in 243/6mm but your welcome to it if want. If not it's available to anyone else.

Well it's different for me. I have shoots all around me but being a loner and anti social weirdo I just keep on top of vermin and then I get birds walking of shoots looking for peace. I do have some wild birds on me but their young get hammered by buzzards and fox's. I have to hope a few fresh hens appear and settle in the wild ones and just take the cocks. No I don't get any driven birds but I still get to hunt them with my dog and often with flint or cap lock which makes it special. So thanks gents for the odd bird or two ? -
Blow torch! ?

A pigeons head is the size of a mouse so you used the perfect tool for that shot. I trust it was off hand? Anything else doesn't count! ? cracking shot bud.

"Two penneth"! That's an information booklet! ? Just that....beyond 200yds it's not as simple as " point and shoot". Especially with something twitching about. I understand what you mean, in the context of being flat but it's still difficult at extreme distance all of the time etc.

The only thing is per every 100 yds the room for error increases maybe ten times! Don't go off YouTube, they tend not to film the missed ones! What ever you do, enjoy it otherwise it becomes a chore and it stops.

They are only barrel burners if continuously fired like in America on a vast priary dog town. It's unlikely you will empty a magazine rapidly enough here.

I have a soft spot for treble2. My longest shot fox ever was with a 222. 388 paces....twice! I was young then. Forget long range, you'll shoot most under 100 anyway!

Something to brighten your day?

Bet he sniffs it azz! ? -
Funny you say that. Reminds me of the time I was sixteen and had the notion to get that old inflatable dingy we had, take it down the farm, to the "floodings", paddle to the reeds and wait for the ducks with my air rifle. I got half way across the 50yd stretch of water and hit an old wire fence submerged in the water the barbs puncturing the dingy! I just got back as water was coming in the craft! There was water rails there too!

No idea. I just wonder what steel shot might do to the barrel ports. And then there is the choke but I think mine is not tightly choked which I like, so I'm safe there. I honestly don't feel the need to be honest.

....tonight. I was eager to try a new homeload that involves ramming 3/4oz into a 2&1/2" case! They weren't that good to be honest. They need a bit more wad I think so I will drop the shot from 19 g to about 17 but add some more card wads. Anyway I got a couple ironically with one shot! That's how much spread these are doing!!

Brilliant pellet them. My little Springer loves them. Buscapan may help with any wind issues ? -
Are rubber ones safer for the barrel? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F252600801393

Those pig units can provide slot of fun ?.

Testing done and all ok. I have no idea what happened on the night. At a long 50yds the pattern was reasonable with 1/2 choke but I may use the the 3/4 for night duty next time. I agree, #3 shot is my fave. You can't beat pattern and multi strikes.

You might need to consider a tougher bullet for deer me duck!

Well the 3" 52g #0 work....kind of! Spotted a twitchy fox at 200yds and I started to move in using a dark tree line for cover. She moved away and I followed. She seemed to stop and start catching beetles so I got down on my knees and started to squeal via my hand. She moved closer cautiously. I squealed again and she came closer. One more squeal and she kept coming, but going around me to wind me. As she got close to winding me I aimed at her with the hatsan. Pointing the gun 180° from her original position I held the bead on her and said "Bernard thats 50yds" and so I trip
