Nobody seems to upset about using these so if I put some in my pocket whilst shooting and say I " I used these my vegan friend" will I be ok? ?

From Discover on Google https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/17803005.can-help-chris-packham-spot-painted-lady-butterfly/ I deleted dozens of photos taken recently this week. Maybe if he wasn't so busy thinking about being vindictive to minority groups he would see more stuff!

I don't seem to get much of a reaction these days. It's an age thing.

I honestly believe oiling is the major cause of issues. I recall a feller using a beretta on a beaters day on a very cold January day and sure enough mid morning it jammed up. All the combustion material turned the oil to a tar like sticky goo. Fortunately someone had some wd40 and we were able to strip it down and clean it up. The feller never oiled it again just cleaned it.

While you were playing with your new rifles I went and got me a 3" hatsan ford escort 12g and to be honest I am quite impressed! I put 28, 29, 32 and 36 gram loads through it and home loads some of which were subsonic and it cycled the lot! And with no O ring present! I eventually did put an O ring on it but it was to thick and just would not allow the hammer to strike the firing pin although the action was locked. It's quite a precise fit. I later fitted a smaller section ring and now it fires. The reason for the ring despite perfect function without one is that the barreled action

How can they ban it? They had to back peddle quickly when the non experts turned up with evidence of damage by crows and pigeon. They know despite any hidden agenda crops and livestock has to be protected and no law will stop that from taking place. A total ban as you fear would only produce more crime and not produce anything of use. They are using fear tactics. That fear is coming through in how some speak, turning on hunters, using demeaning language won't impress those you fear. Everyone would celebrate their catch of woodpigeon on the net before all this fuss, crows too. I

You crack on brother but I feel it won't make a difference, they won't chase up on anyone you bring to their attention, they won't make an example of someone. What they will do is just ban it outright, the age-old British solution to everything problematic. Then they can dust it under the carpet and pretend it's sorted but you know what, that guy taking birds off the water trough, I bet he still takes birds off that water trough!

The thing is mate, you, wild justice, government, who ever, ain't going to stop it from happening. Look at it from a common sense angle. There are millions of woodies and to some me included, they are a viable food source, no different than rabbit. Some despite laws the obvious will be screaming at them! What makes it all the more bazaar is that they can be slaughtered over crops and eaten. So a missed bird in July can't be shot at say two months later over the same field for the pot. For some that will always be two much to bear. The real issue as I see it is the legi

My money is on Scotland getting it right. It's only an exercise in damage limitation of the authorities by any accuser. Once it's sorted it'll be forgotten and all that will change is people will just talk in a different language about their time in the field and take more scenic photos! Of course this is just my opinion and not necessarily correct or the same views of others here.

Yep, I quit stalking when I was suddenly asked for pieces of paper. It all started from the unjust handgun ban. Suddenly the handgunners had cash and variations for rifles and decided to try stalking deer. Most of them thought passing exams was all they needed but when most realised it's actually hard work they disappeared. So now we have an over population of deer and a declining number of stalkers! Exams will never replace what some one loves to do from the heart, it just produces experts and you all know what I think of experts! Now I know many did the exams because

Top choices sir. It does not surprise me how accurate it is at all and I bet it was not far off a centered scope too! If the trigger is a touch to heavy you just need to change the spring under the adjuster, that will give a lighter range. -

Sometimes the regulators are set a little high. Yes try a new seal first. It doesn't take much to unlock the bolt. Many think the system ejects the case. In fact most actions just unlock the bolt. The residual pressure in the barrel acts on the empty hull as a piston that pushes the bolt back to cycle the mechanism. Any lost gas or over regulation changes the timing of bolt release and in a millisecond not enough residual pressure is available to act on the empty case completely etc. It's most a timing issue really, bolt unlocking and residual pressure just before the shot -

Great, lousy night. Nausea, head ache. Body aches. Stuck in bed. Mrs checked the symptoms, says it looks like heat stroke! I should be out doing my scarecrow routine now. -
