Cheers. I reloaded for all my center fires but did buy some cheap 6.5 from S&B and some obscure South American producer and it was very good. I did buy some S&B 222 decades ago and one blow a primer pocket on me so started reloading my own. Before that I bought some rws hornet that was quite anemic but the brass lasted ages. The S&B hornet ammo was good. I bought a few boxs of 357 just have some fun and guage my reloads performance. Ended up shooting a lot of vermin with them. Basically in about 30 years of shooting CF rifles I bought about eight box's of

The trouble with cat owners

Your not alone bro. I got that branding iron slapped on my arse years ago too. Last night I bumped into moggy. An old keeper mate told all the locals straight " if I see a cat in the woods it gets shot". Shooting a pet willfully is of course an offense. As cats are semi domestic and will roam, some over amazing distances, they can soon become a predatory pest. The problem is their owners. Oblivious most of them are. Oblivious to their cats murdering ways! -
....a star. Look what he sent, what a gent. Not just the cartridge fox callers and extra squeakers but a little oil squirter and a degreaser and some fancy grease! The cases are 6.5 swede which brings back fond memories too. Thank you so much Si. Very kind. I'm off to try them out now in some maize! SD.

Just leg pulling mate ?

Tested rifle. Just needed a slight shift left but the ammo seems to throw the odd one high! There is incomplete combustion going on! Don't think I will buy this ammo again!
-
Good stuff but I'm not sure teaching your mate to look like a deranged psycho nut case is advisable stav! Any way, good luck next time.?
-
For sure. My first fox was hit a little high but I put it down to an off hand shot. We shall see.....

Oh no guys he said the 204 thingy word ? If big H had got the old 6mm flobert case and necked it to 5mm (.20") and got a 20grn doing 2500+ they would of primed easier for starters and work better on anything better than mice!

....I got two vixens tonight! One was straight forward. A 100 yard off hand shot. She only had one eye but otherwise healthy. The second Vixen was a messy affair with a lot of luck thrown in! I spotted her across the stream from the stubble field I was in to the pasture strip she was in. Behind her was noisy maize from the wind that hid my noisy approach to a handy round bale. By the time I got to the bale she was just in the hedge of the maize field so I squealed. Well she came in a treat, jumped the stream and bingo a rested 50yarder.....missed! Can't of I said. Wen

Easy peasy. It was not so easy for me tonight!

Good luck with that. At one time I could of helped. Good presses. Croxton country store had an old press a few years ago. It was blue! May of been a Pacific. 01630 620226.

? We just having a laugh. In all honesty the 17 with any case stuck to the back of it is a very safe bullet indeed. It soon smashes itself to nothing. Still the wrong choice though........?

Dave, that is just so wrong on many levels!

Phoarrrrr ? Bet you can see over the hedges in them mate ?

177 airguns ? 17 rifles ?

Three birds breasted. Add to a food blender with a slice of bread. Onion, tiny amount so it doesn't over power. Cajan spice mix or what ever you fancy. Ground black pepper and a splash of olive oil. Grind the lot together until a paste and I put it in the oven or this 5 min chef thingy my wife got untill cooked through. I put a skewer in and withdraw it, then touch the back of my hand. If I jump it's cooked! Dead simple and tasty. -

Yep, to many cocks can be disruptive. I don't mind them but on a shoot it's different.
