How far Dave? Got some legs on him hasn't he.

You want to stop sucking rifle stocks no matter how tasty they may or may not be! Sometimes I really worry about you. Lol.

After the first shot I switched ammo, adjusted the turret to zero, shot two rounds at a concrete post in a safe area at 100+. Good to go. I must of cocked it up on the second fox. My right eye has a stigmatism or something like that. It is quiet difficult at night to get the focus right. I have to adjust for nearly every shot these days and if I forget like at night sneaking up on Charlie I find myself struggling for definition despite an IR reticle. Feel like giving up to be honest and just take a look about with a shotgun. If it don't come in to a squeak let it be....

If he does smear some snake butt juice on road edges. The ones the road trains use.

The 50s don't like expanding much. Good if you want deep penetration but not much use in the UK except rabbits for the table. The other issue is they or this batch fill the mod with unburnt powder which IMO is a symptom of something not quite right! I noticed recently that clumps of unburnt fuel would partially obscure the center of the mod, that has to upset a following shot! It was worth a try I guess but for sure they offer nothing over the 40&30 grain offerings. Even the H 25gr NTX is better and that's entering savage mouse rifle territory. Federal needs to use a better powde

An air rifle, once registered as requiring an FAC can not be returned to non FAC.

I don't know if this applies over here but.... https://winchester.com/support/customers/X17HMR1-Recall Winchester Warning and Recall Notice: Super-X 17 HMR 20 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point Olin Winchester, LLC is recalling two (2) lots of 17 HMR 20 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point Rimfire rifle ammunition. Last night was a disaster! I missed two fox's! One a rested 100yds and one off hand at 70ish. I know I raved about these 50 GRN wmr by federal but with what looks like a CCI bullet when I first got them but just recently I noticed some velocity fluctuations. So I went to the old marl pit which is about 100yds wide and did some testing, it revealed a few things. First, the 50grn loads by federal contain low performing rounds, so much so a couple per ten can be low by 6" ! I shot the rest off and sure enough I decided I am best rid of them. I tested the hornady vmax and

Well I don't know. I managed to get in range of two fox's last night via walking and lamps, then proceeded to MISS! So if I had spent a deposit on a house just to spot the swining things I would of hung myself last night! Rifle checking again later. I have no idea what went wrong but suspect it's an age thing!

Well done stav.

If there is a lead ban I suppose the poor muzzleloader freak like me does not get considered!

If they know......

What's all this mumbo jumbo about Mr Packham and pheasants? What's the mumbo jumbo about Europe banning lead shot? Do I need to stock up? SD.

A smile on both our faces ?

What they up to now, stopping kids enjoying legit shooting? The government needs to set up a knife proficiency course for kids today not stop them from enjoying shooting! -
Its very tiring I found. Old man getting.

Ok so it's not windy so thought I would give it a go. Two turns up on the turret. 6"X10" target. 30 shots including spotting shots for elevation and ten on target. Not to bad for an auto with not too fine a trigger and off hand.

I had many years ago a box of ICI ammo. Think it was called '100' and that was very accurate. I was also given some Canadian ammo dated 1942. May of been called Dominican(?). That was copper cased and shot very well too.
