Further testing today with the wmr in the wind tonight confirmed a couple of things for me.
Shooting a rimfire in good wind up to 200yds is folly. That's the first point.
The second is that my right eye is pants, infact, both are no where near what they were a decade ago. So spotting rabbits unless perfectly lit up is getting difficult for me.
So there is no point me getting a mouse rifle, I won't see them and when I squint through the glass with my right eye everything goes darker anyway!
