I had a 1st cross bitch about 8/10 year ago. Do not know if it was copper t. but at about 6 month she started having fits/seizures, had her checked over by the vet who said she was healthy. (i didn't know about the copper t then). I ended up giving her to an old lady as a pet at about 18 month old as it became apparent the exertion/excitement were triggering these episodes more frequently. If i had known about it then i would have had her tested because having now heard of copper t. I've often wondered. -
That's the ones ?. I wear mine shooting/on site all day with no rubbing though.

Don't know what's the best (i use the Dunlop ones with steel toes) but i would stay away from the Jack Pyke neoprene. The pair i had were shite.

I've had this problem now and again in the past with fenn mk4 in plywood tunnels, think I've solved it by putting wooden angle (ramps) either side of the trap instead of scraping a hole in the ground to seat the trap.

Its telling us what it should be telling everybody, if it cant be done naturally then it should not be done. I don't mean that a vet shouldn't be called if there are birthing problems or that straws shouldn't be used to keep old lines or overcome distance problems etc. I mean if a mating cannot be achieved naturally then there is probably a good reason why it cannot.
