Have them giant beavers been at them trees again ?
-
What they need is an old boy who is due to renew but wasn’t going to bother because his, out at night tramping across fields days are over, to me it just looks like shifting the blame and work load onto someone else, you have always had to give permission for them to access your medical records, so they should do it,

That’s the problem, finding someone who is willing to be the test case, at the minute we don’t have to do it ( yet ) I’m not sure I would be willing to be the first to challenge it, even with the backing of a shooting organisation
-
Everyone has there own opinion on this, for me on my .243, .223 and .17hmr I use DPT, very light and you can fully strip them for cleaning
-
At the minute he has his own perms but no rifles, it wouldn’t be right for me to go into it on here ?
-
The very same Ian I know that certain types of shooting don’t suit everyone, for me it’s shotguns, I get very frustrated with my shooting, for him it’s centre fire, the difference is I wouldn’t randomly start firing shots off out of frustration or excitement, it’s not like he’s new to it, he’s been shooting over 20 years

I don’t mind a miss but it’s when they rattle another 2 at it and miss, paying no attention to where they are shooting, just over excited about seeing a fox and pulling a trigger
-
I’m still boiling now, if I ever let him shoot again it will come with one condition, that before we go out I can snap them dog sh*t sticks he insists on using

Well, there’s a weekend to forget, Friday night, up to the sheep farm, the moon was like daylight and the wind was all wrong for where I wanted to be, seen nowt. Yesterday’s plan was to go and get longshanx a roe, couldn’t go where I wanted because the keeper was out after them there so we went to longshanx’s place, seen nowt ( but it was a nice walk out at first light. Tonight my mate asked if we could go up to the shoot because he’d been there today and seen evidence of a fox, so I met him there just before dark, he asked if he could shoot, now we’ve had problems in the past and he’s served

Woooooo, shiny bang bang, it will not be long before the family forget who you are and you learn to function on 2 hours sleep a night ?

The cables are about 85 quid ( none genuine) and take about an hour to change, it’s just the gear stick covers off and a fixing plate on the bulk head, they just push onto the gear selector and are secured with a clip

Perfect BC, as long as he’s doing ok ?
-
Hopefully he’ll come back on, I like a read of a sausage adventure ?
-
Yeah, she said you were sh*t, I told here if she had put a woolly jumper on you would of made more of an effort ???

That looks a chunky fella, caravan parks in rural locations always seem to produce a good number of foxes, I have one on my shoot boundary and I’ve shot more foxes in that field than anywhere else on the shoot, the foxes show little interest in the local wildlife, much preferring a left over burger ? or a bit of pizza ?

Bit of a bonus today, working just down the road from my mates farm and the concrete lad would be running late so I chucked the shotgun in the car and went for a walk about for an hour, it’s very rare that I ever take the shotgun out and this showed in my shooting. I did manage a couple of woodies for a fare few shots, I was helped by the fact they are now paying no attention to the banger at all and the stiff breeze blowing across the wood, the hares are running around like lunatics, love is definitely in the air

It looks like we have another one missing in action, I’ve not seen Mr Bernard Sausage for a while
-
Orrible to me you lot ?
-
55’s in the .223 and 70’s in the .243
-
I have no problem taking foxes over 300 with the .243 and the vortex scope, I’m still getting used to the .223, it’s the first time I’ve had one, but I like it so far as a night time rifle
-
Yeah, I couldn’t believe it, I shoot with a single red dot on the wraith, I put the dot just above it’s back and down it went I’ve just had to google who Peter Dinklage is ?
-
Right, so the story goes, I’ve got a fox up at the sheep farm that’s giving me the right run around, I’ve been up 4 times in the last week, see it every time, normally around the pig units on the farm next door. Tonight we headed to the far end of the farm, now this thing won’t come in to any call, after half an hour my mate picked it up in the thermal heading down next doors field towards us, I thought, we are on, then it stopped and turned left and headed away from us. Bugger, so that was that, let’s go home. Heading back to the farm I was giving a few squeaks with the caller and my mate was

That’s the best use of a shotgun in my opinion, pushing a bit of cover out or a small wood, not knowing what you are going to get and there’s always a chance of flushing a fox ?

The driven shooting is not really my thing, I much prefer running the day, making sure the members and guests have nothing to moan about, I’ll maybe shoot it once or twice in a season, I’d rather have a walk around the shoot with a shotgun on my own or a go at the geese
